To be fair, Rooney Mara has appeared recently in some colors including a green shift dress and some really beautiful pearlescent gowns, but let’s be honest: she’s fully embraced her character in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo‘s go-to color palette. And while that body she worked hard to achieve looks fabulous in her monochrome choices, you have to admit… it’s a lot of black. What do you think?
The gallery shows just a handful of her — extremely beautiful — fashion choices in black of late. Sure, there’s some white, brown, and grey, but it’s hard not to recognize the actress’ comfort zone.

I like it. Black is timeless, slimming, and sexy. I did not realize how much black I wear untill I organized my closet by color a few weeks ago…and realized that literally 2/3 of what I own is black. And 1/3 of that consists of rock band t-shirts.

I wear quite a bit of black myself. I think that most of these looks are fantastic but I think that she would look amazing in gem colors. I should look for the image because I bet she looked really good in the green.

You can never go wrong with black. She looks goth-ish from time to time but it’s more modern and cool rather then costume-y.

If she’s comfortable in black then that’s great! She looks AMAZING every time she’s in the limelight, and since this fame is still new to her, give her time! I can totally see her blossoming into a star AND a fashion icon =)

Love it! If she wore pink, there’d be an article of her here saying that she’s clearly not in her comfort zone or something. Many celebs have go-to colours (Angelina Jolie seems to love black, Emma Watson can frequently be seen in blue, etc), probably because they look good in them!
