Well, the could-be discomfort of Valentine’s is now behind us, it’s the middle of the week, the middle of the month, and winter is beginning to show signs of surrender. What are you looking forward to in the coming spring?
I always feel the graduation spirit, even though I’m already out of school. It feels like a big punctuation in the season. I’m personally looking forward to SXSW, the big music festival here in Austin in March. It’s been said before that SXSW is when we feel the new year here. Everyone comes together into the sunshine and acknowledges that it’s really been a whole year.
Not to get all cheesey on you, but spring is a time for renewal. I have friends who will be moving here soon, and some moving away soon. What do you plan to do with your spring? Your year? What are you looking forward to the most?

I don’t know about you guys but I didn’t have a winter. We had one day in January that was really cold but other than that it’s weebling from 30 all the way up to 60 on and off. It will snow an inch, then it rains a quarter inch.

I just want to wear my new leather jacket. I want to pack away my bulky, winter coats. I look forward to not shoveling my driveway anymore.

We’re putting gardens in this year, I’m looking forward to that. We might be getting a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy in April. My CHL should get here in a couple of months. And all of the usual summer stuff- swimming, amusement parks, vacations, floating the river.
