Whitney had one of the best voices in the world. It’s said the cause of her death is unknown, but I wouldn’t be surprised if drugs were the cause. I hope she cleaned up and pulled herself together before she passed away. Still young, too. RIP Ms. Houston.

Rest in peace Whitney Houston. May you find peace.
I can imagine her singing a duet with Michael Jackson.

@PsychedelicaMF@xanga - agree!

@boilingicicle@xanga - I don’t believe in all that and I don’t think that’s even true.
She had an amazing voice! The Matrix describes what Hollywood really is like. Everything looks all fine, dandy, and you want the lives of celebrity beneath the surface but deep down, the reality of Hollywood leads to a road of total destruction and appears corrupt. What does it profit to gain the world and lose your soul? That is why, it’s important to give people their flowers when they are alive. People were just talking bad about her yesterday and you turn around saying something different the next. When was the last time anyone brought her music or went to her concerts? People are funny. I was happy she was trying to make a comback and cheering her on. Her voice is silenced. Sad,oh so sad.

This is sad, but nobody cared about her problems when she was alive. People were all too happy to slam her for taking drugs and they all criticised her choices then, but now she’s dead they suddenly love her?
Please.

@daydreams_nightmares@xanga - I agree, however, I didn’t really care too much about how she (or any other celebrity) lived her life, I just always liked her voice and music.

what’s with the [4] and [5] on the article?
guest
@x0_electric_kiss@xanga - it’s copied from Wikipedia (I assume) and those are those little footnote/reference numbers.
guest
@daydreams_nightmares@xanga - That’s what I thought. Maybe they should learn to edit a bit more.

So many times while standing in the check out lanes, I’d glance at the National Enquirer, Star or other Celebrity Gossip magazines. I would see another celebrity having a bad way with life. I would think oh well, so what. But not so with Whitney Houston. I always hoped that she would pull it to together. Well we don’t know right what really was the cause of her death, but seeing all the photos and videos of her the night before, shows that she wasn’t changing a whole lot. RIP Whitney Houston, you were gorgeous lady with a beautiful singing voice.

Whitney was such a talent… I was waiting for her big come back… This I have to say socked me. I know people wonder why and assume it was drugs but really I am not going to assume I thing. I didn’t really know her. All I knew was she had an amazing gift and shared it with us.
And her life was cut shorter then it needed to be.
guest
This makes me sad. RIP.

@x0_electric_kiss@xanga - or at least provide the source if they’re going to copy it so blatantly :-/

Let’s just remember her for what she was … a contemporary legend . Let’s just hope she has found her peace .

She was THE QUEEN of pop when I was growing up. I loved her voice then, and I still love her voice now. Her passing ins a nunimaginable tragedy….my prayers for her family and loved ones….
guest
@daydreams_nightmares@xanga - exactly! i think what they did was ‘provide’ the source by having her name link back to the wikipedia site. i don’t think that’s the correct way to do it since there was obvious copy and pasting going on.
