Finally! The Hollywood Walk Of Fame boasts 2,460 celebrities and pop culture icons from decades passed, many who don’t exactly ring a bell, so it’s a wonder this is the first we’ve heard of music legend Paul McCartney‘s own star. May we say, it’s about time?
The other three Beatles already had theirs, and Paul’s was approved all the way back in 1993. I wonder what the holdup was? Either way, we’re happy to congratulate him, and glad to see the ceremony was presided over by another paragon of musical awesomeness, Mr. Neil Young. [via WashingtonPost]

REALLY? He’s JUST getting it? That does seem surprising, considering he’s THE most successful musician in music history according to Guinness World Records. I would’ve thought he already had one years ago! *tsk tsk* Shame on you, Hollywood.

I’m also surprised Paul McCartney didn’t get a star sooner. However, as a huge fan of The Beatles and Paul McCartney, I’m very glad that it has happened. He deserves it.
