I have a reader request to share with you all from my girl Ebony:

One of my best friends is getting married soon and for her special pre-celebration we are having a full day of activities.  It’s on a Saturday and includes a daytime lingerie shower.  Then we are carpooling for a short road trip and doing dinner, bar hopping, and a club.  THEN back to the hotel for a strip show.  Yeah, a lot!

For the shower,  I’m going to be moving and doing a lot to set up and clean up so too many layers will be restricting I think.  I want to be comfortable for the drive to DC.  For dinner, bar hopping, club — I’m at a loss. I want to be versatile and just be able to switch my shoes and maybe an accessory or two.  I also want to be non-fussy so that I can move about easily.

The softly pleated skirt is very flattering. In addition, it allows you to move seamlessly during the shower. The denim top is a great contrast to the soft fabric and the leopard flats add a stylish and modern flair. However, if you want to go with a slightly dressier style, switch the flats to platform pumps and incorporate a chiffon blouse.

I love a good pair of wide leg trousers. Not only are they “polished”, they also are perfect to wear to most functions. Adding a fun print such as “stripes, florals, or polka dots” will keep this look on trend. Now I know you requested flats, however, don’t forget that the majority of wedges add lift not pain.
