We used to be big breakfast-skippers here at Lovelyish HQ… until finally we started eating FiberOne for breakfast, together with some milk and fresh fruit.
All that fiber — along with a reduction in red meat — led to a weight loss of ten pounds over three months! Combined with an increase in energy, we are now big believers in eating breakfast!
Do you eat breakfast every morning? What do you eat?

No breakfast usually, but sometimes I’ll buy a sandwich on the way if I have the time. Btw fiber one looks disgusting. No offense, but I think it looks like worms…

Yes, breakfast nearly every morning, unless my stomach isn’t feeling too good, then just hot tea. Mostly cereal with milk and fruit or oatmeal and other times, homemade breakfast sandwiches/burritos. I used to make the sandwiches and burritos with fatty breakfast meats like sausage and bacon (still do occasionally–Sunday breakfast), but now I make it with sauteed veggies such as mushrooms and baby spinach.

@ash - I find it tastes horrid too :S

@ash - I agree, that particular cereal isn’t very tasty looking, but they do have other varieties of Fiber One nowadays.

Wow you guys must be pooping up a storm with all that fiber intake. No wonder you lost so much weight.

I eat hummus every morning with some crackers and vegetables. I had no appetite this morning though so I threw my breakfast in with my lunch and will try to eat later. I usually have an appetite in the morning but I feel quite sick today.

I eat breakfast every morning because lunch is a looong way away some days.

Breakfast every day. Two eggs and a glass of coca cola. Sometimes toast too.
On weekends: eggs, bacon, toast, hashbrowns

A bowl of cereal everyday. Also, I organize my cereal boxes by fiber content.

Banana and Granola bar on weekdays. Saturday’s usually involve eggs and toast or hashbrowns, and sundays are usually pancakes.

I’m trying to! I have yogurt and cereal.

I can’t force myself to eat when I first wake up, so usually I’ll wait until I’m at work or school and eat a granola bar or apple and have some green tea.

Breakfast EVERY DAY. I don’t think I’ve skipped a day since I was in elementary school. My days are busy, what with 5-hour lectures starting at 7am, clinicals, or workouts at the gym. I definitely need food to fuel my body and to keep my mind alert.
This morning, since I’m studying and am short on time, I made a smoothie with a few strawberries, a cup of blueberries, a whole banana, and a small handful of spinach. Breakfast on the go is usually a wheat thin-cut bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon (lox), and spinach. On the weekends when I have more time, I’ll make a fancy-schmancy spinach-mushroom-tomato omelet topped with avocado. Mmmmmmm.

a bagel or oatmeal. Or cold cereal if I’m in a rush

I can not function without a daily breakfast! During the week a bowl of cereal with fresh fruit is my first choice. On the weekends I splurge on eggs, bacon and bagels! I am always looking forward to Saturday morning breakfast!

@christinalennon - That looks yummy! I would love to make pancakes again. Woohoo for weekends lol.

I usually eat Ramen noodles or leftovers from last night’s dinner. Sometimes I eat cold cereal as well. I usually wake up an hour before I have to leave for work. Which leaves me enough time to eat and get ready to go.
Though at times I am rushed which I hate. Though I still try to eat at least a full bowl of breakfast.

I try to eat or drink something. If I have work at 8:30 I usually am not hungry right away so it is nice to grab a banana or something else portable. If I have dairy milk, I’ll sometimes drink ovaltine before leaving my apartment. I’ve been drinking mocha hot chocolate lately as a coffee substitute.
I kinda go through phases and try to mix it up. Eggo waffles w/ smart balance and honey or cinnimon sugar, cereal (w/ dairy or almond milk, depending on which one I am on), oatmeal. I even have some toaster strudel. Two years ago I used to microwave eggs and eat them between two buttered waffles, which was really good and I should start doing that again. Living in Cairo, Egypt was the worst, though, because I had no bowl or spoon so all I ate was dry cereal and maybe drank some grape juice for a whole semester. Ever so rarely I got Egypt’s version of an Egg McMuffin (turkey instead of canadian bacon, pretty delicious).

No, but I’m working on it! My favorites are turkey sausage w/eggs, blueberry yogurt, or fruit of some kind.
guest
Oh definitely. I couldn’t function if I didn’t eat breakfast.
I usually have a waffle, french toast, yogurt, eggs, English muffins and/or fruit with either coffee or tea.
It’s my favorite meal of the day.

Does Lovelyish have a partnership with Fiber One about this or something?

of course I always eat breakfast!

What works best, at least for me:
* Start of with a glass of lemon water or alpiste drink to cleanse up and awake. Then dress up, make up, etc.
* Like 45 min. later, some FRUIT! Fruit is digested very quickly and if there are heavier foods blocking its way in the digestive system it will ferment and cause complications. So if you eat cereal for breakfast, mostly bran cereal, which takes ages to digest, you’re pretty much blocking your digestion for 3-4 hours. Which is not cool.
So better start off with fruit and if you still want cereal an hour later, go for it. You wont be hungry for lunch though…

I have to force down some kind of food every morning or else I wouldn’t be able to function. I hate eating breakfast.
