I happen to love this because, just like the darker accessories, something so sweet as flower garland headbands can be used to play up a flirty outfit or starkly contrast an otherwise edgy look. 

Fashion icons like Alexa Chung have helped to bring about this girlish innocence trend lately by mixing very sweet accessories with unexpected silhouettes and materials. This is a garland more for the “love child” look, worn across the forehead, but I’m imagining a choppy pixie cut with this wrapped around. I get annoyed at headbands not having an action going on in the back because for long-haired girls it wouldn’t show, but a short crop allows style from all angles, and this would be a really great piece for that.
