Speaking of revenge, Entertainment Weekly has deemed ABC’s primetime drama “Revenge” worthy of a cover along with the title, “TV’S GREATEST GUILTY PLEASURE”.

 

If you haven’t seen the show already, it’s a bit of a twist on the The Count of Monte Cristo. A young girl Emily whose father was framed moves back to the Hamptons to seek revenge on the people who framed him. Except everyone is part of high society and wearing cocktail dresses.  On second thought, it’s the exact same premise as the Count of Monte Cristo.

The show has quickly become a red hot guilty pleasure because of the intricate revenge plots of our anti-hero Emily and the devious machinations of her arch-rival Victoria Grayson, played by Madeline Stowe.  To give you a feel for the show, here are some of the standout quotes from the first season so far:
