ONTD! reports Rihanna hit up the tattoo parlor as part of her Tuesday night activities. See the ink job after the jump!
Yeah, apparently Rihanna’s new body art isn’t even on her back or butt, like the above photo suggests. Instead, she opted for “invisible ink” on her knuckles — just like the O.G. she is?
And in case you’re still a little confused, here’s some tweeted clarity:
So there you have it. Regardless of the pop phenom’s Barbados-upbringing, she reps the U.S. West Coast hip-hop family. That’s OK, though. I’ve lived on the East Coast my whole life and still prefer Pac. Oh, and here’s a photo of her with Danny Trejo, who I guess was also at the parlor last night:
A tattoo visible only under blacklight paying homage to a hip-hop legend. Makes… sense.
Would you ever consider getting an invisible tattoo? What about a knuckles tat? Do you prefer Biggie Smalls or Tupac?

*scratches head* Huh?

It saddens me that someone that things music like that is wearing a shirt of John Lennon.

Wow. What a waste. There are thousands of better tattoos she could have gotten in VISIBLE ink.

is she really drinking a beer while getting tatted??
or is that something else, its hard to tell.

@FuhkAwf@xanga - my thoughts exactly….

@ThatGirlBoog@xanga - lol I was going to ask the same thing…. Drinking beer (if thats what it is).. well, alcohol in general isn’t a good idea to do while getting a tattoo… It can mess it up :S
But… Thats one ugly tattoo :S

@ThatGirlBoog@xanga - I couldn’t tell either! I am pretty sure you’re not supposed to be imbibing on booze before an ink job, but maybe the rules have changed since my last tattoo in November? Haha, I have no idea.

@beca - You CAN drink while tattooing (some places dont advise it) I heard it can make the ink runny or something because alcohol thins your blood…. Oh well, her body.. I’d never drink and get a tattoo..

I wish she would go all out and get some killer sleeves instead of getting lots of small tattoos here and there!

I’m always impressed by how low class and ghetto she got after Chris Brown hit her.

I don’t think I’m ever getting any tattoos on my hands, and I’m sure as hell not getting “thug life” tattooed anywhere on me. But that’s because I’m white and from Iowa and therefore I think it would be a very un-fitting ink choice.

@akinnison - That would be so rad!

think this girl is just getting a lil to far up her own arse. think she should cool the drama of acting all hard and turf and like a gangster. just be ya self ri ri and stop trying to play up to some think that your not. what happend to there incodent girl of pon de replay …. sad

is she comparing herself to tupac in that tweet? because that would be like mall security guard comparing himself to seal team 6.
anyway, i don’t see the point of an invisible tattoo. why even get one at all then? would you buy a painting that only shows up under a certain kind of light? or an album that you could only hear with a special kind of headphones?
i’m full of analogies today.

What does “O.G.” mean?
guest
Yeah. Cause she’s SUCH a hardcore badass…. /facepalm
guest
@beca - I don’t think it’s changed. The tat parlor I went to wouldn’t even tat someone who was intoxicated…let alone tat someone who came in with a beer. LOL && I got mine in Sept…but state laws also make a difference.

@TheMANinTHEyellowHAT@xanga - BAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA. I love the comparison. You win. XD

Yep… She was such a thug when Chris Brown was beating her ass, right? GTFOH. I think he might have beaten her into mental defect…
guest
@IdealBeauty@xanga - it stands for original gangster.

@TheMANinTHEyellowHAT@xanga - Oh, haha. Thank you!

I really just don’t like her.

I heard the ink in the UV-light ink has been linked to cancer, but maybe that was just an urban legend.

I went in (I was 16, now I’m 22) to get a tattoo with invisible ink, and the guy told me that it was a very bad idea… a lot of up-keep if you will. And for a person who had a $6somethingyoucantliveoffofanhour wage, it was out of my budget. I would still like one. So many cool ideas with invisible ink
I couldn’t do knuckle tats. I think they look silly.
guest
I don’t understand. Why is she posed like that if she is getting knuckle tatoos, why is she drinking alcohol and getting tattooed, what is with the bowl, I don’t even..
