I have an art degree. Sometimes I let my imagination run wild and fancy myself a legitimate artist. I’ll make something pretty. Then I’ll get tired and realize I’m better at writing and doing hair than I am at painting and I say, “that’ll do for now.” Then I see this guy, Riusuke Fukahori. Yes, OK, our friend from last week with the Rubik’s cubes was enough to make me feel inadequate. But there are some people who do art because it’s all they can do, and then there’s this guy, who intends to simply make art his b*tch… using goldfish.

My eyes roll back in my head every time I watch this. My brain says, “There you go, world. Art is done. That guy finished it. Everyone can go home now.” But in all seriousness, how inspiring is his technique? So deft. I find his passion and precision so inspiring. If I could put that much effort into one thing in my life I’d be happy.

That’s all for my whimsy spiel. What do you think of this tedious art form?
