OK, that’s a mouthful. What really happened is this: Zahia Dehar (pictured above) gained a lot of publicity for doing the dirty for money with a handful of French footballers in 2010. While prostitution isn’t illegal in France, she wasn’t of age to solicit at the time. At 17, I don’t know what I was doing but it wasn’t that. Now, to prove that there’s no such thing as bad publicity, the 20-year-old is using her bangin’ bod and sex appeal to sell her new couture lingerie line, photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, at this year’s ultra-posh Couture Fashion Week. Le oy. 


The collection itself is a collaboration of her own expertise in the subject matter and some big names in couture lingerie like François Tamarin, Bruno Legeron and Jean-Pierre Ollier. While Karl Lagerfeld photographed the collection for its upcoming release, he makes a point to mention that he didn’t actually work on the collection [via Fashionista]. Regardless of her unaffordable line of skivvies, we might just be seeing more of this French tabloid starlet in the US if history is any indicator of her prowess for garnering public attention.
