It’s a good song, and I enjoy covers of it, for the most part. I think the problem with this is that a lot of the singers are performing in different pitches, which gives this a very disjointed feel…

Wow… I’m sorry but there were A LOT of bad singers in that video O_O

I can’t pick a favorite, there are so many good ones! At first I thought there were quite a few covers that were really bad but as the video went on, I realized that like TheMushyPear said, a lot of them were just singing in different pitches.

I’d say it was about half decent/good singers and half should just stop trying to sing. period. lol.

@surveys_fortheteenageesoul@xanga - wow…you have no idea what you’re talking about. Some of them were singing the song in different keys that fit their own voices better than the original key, that’s why they sounded off pitch compared to the rest of the singers, but they really weren’t. 

The mash-up was great.

@surveys_fortheteenageesoul@xanga - I don’t think they were bad singers. When the person made this video they put the back-up of Adele’s song in it and not all of the singers sang it in the same key that she sings it in. I did notice that whoever made the video tried to transpose the back-up with the singers, but it wasn’t always right, which made it sound like the singers were off.

I like this a lot. Lots of different girls and women sharing the same kind of emotion and message.

Oh, and guys. One criticism I do have though is that whoever made the remix didn’t alter the keys of different songs at all, which makes for a very disjunct listening experience at times. It makes people sound worse than they are.

Had to listen to each performance a little more – these are the ones that stood out to me the most:

For the women – 15, 16, 21, 25, 51, 66, 68
For the men – 30,31, 34, 40

I freaking love this video! I love the song, and enjoy some of the singers in the video, and hated some of the other singers in the video. The video itself though- AMAZING!

There was mostly good singers, a nice handful of awesome ones. Some weren’t so great. This is taking into account that some of them were singing in a different style/key. But it was great regardless. I will take their word that those were indeed the best 71.

Maddie Jane was in there she is an awesome little girl. Fantastic voice!

awesome mashup! thanks for sharing. on another note, Adele really needs to stop smoking, bad for her and the environment. Esp since she’s a singer and needs her throat and lungs.

#40 Mike Tompkins and #44 Sam Tsui are my two faves (YouTube them both). THere were CERTAINLY lots of other extremely gifted singers there.
Others, as much as they tried well, make me wonder HOW they made it to the top 71 out of 350K of people.

@edlives@xanga - #40 was Mike Tompkins. He’s got a YouTube channel where he does covers entirely a cappella…including the instruments. He’s absolutely worth checking out.

I persoanlly can’t carry a tune in a bucket, I was impressed. Nice Mush-Up! 

It was awesome until they got to the guys. KEEP IT IN THE SAME KEY FOR A MASHUP FOR MY EARS’ SAKE T___T

@Rhindon@xanga - I was rather impressed with his skills.  Kinda like DeStorm when he does a cappella as well.  I subscribed to Mike, and a few of those others as well.
