Prostitution should be legal. Just think, she could be a tax-paying citizen with health insurance.

Harrassing customers or approaching people in their cars should be taken more seriously. I take it as threatening behavior when panhandlers get in my face.

I really want popcorn chicken and mashed potatoes now. Seriously, ever since going gluten-free I’d kill for some awesome gluten-free popcorn chicken that tastes just like the KFC stuff. 

I don’t know about her shoes, but I’d like to think that if I was in one of the cars she approached I would say something like, “Let me just buy you some nuggets, wait for me at the end of the drive through and I’ll give them to you.”

Awe, people suck. They should have just given her some food. What would it have hurt? Absolutely nothing. If she can’t have it for free, why don’t you, just once, buy the woman a meal. Geez.

@Shadowrunner81@xanga - thats exactly what i would do, i would just buy them for her. it makes me feel bad, to think that someone is offering the only thing she can give out in exchange for food. lots of people don;t think about what they would do when they’re absolutely starving, morals usually go out the window.. 

She’s asking for food and not money. I’d help but offering sex for money is a bigger turn off than just asking for food. 

That’s really sad.  She just wanted food.

Well, I’m not so sure that you see the bigger picture. 

SHE’S HOMELESS AND HUNGRY…if you have NOTHING to trade for food or money, the only thing you have is your body.. Just think about it for a second. She doesn’t have a J.Crew dress to trade. Or “online shopping”.

@Amazon_Bunny@xanga - Well, pimps are already taking advantage of prostitutes, and sex trafficking is a huge business. I tend to think (and history supports me) that legalizing the business would help alleviate those problems. The benefits would be many, but I will list only one here: that women who are prostitutes would no longer have to fear seeking help from police because their occupation itself is a crime. I think you would be interested to read some about legal prostitution. Here is a site that is pro-legalization.

Aw come on. I would’ve given it to her without the sex >.< That’s so messed up. I remember I was in Wendy’s once and an old man came in and he could only afford fries and the manager gave him a bunch of food, knowing he was hungry. I like people with hearts <3

@misslei11@xanga - ….um, yes, I do know. I’m studying cosmetology and will be getting my degree about a year from now. From there, I will be moving to Seattle to open my own salon. I’m making damn sure that I don’t have to be a whore to make money.

If she asked me I would tell her that sex isn’t necessary and to meet me inside and I would just buy her all she could eat and chill out and talk with her.

i don’t usually offer money to people who ask for it but if someone asked me for food, i could not ever say no… though i have to wonder if anyone took the time to tell the woman about all the shelters, soup kitchens and food banks available in most cities. that would probably have helped her more than any damn mc nuggets.

I can see how a homeless and poor woman would do something like that. Should she be imprisoned for it? No, she shouldn’t. She’s hungry.

I would have just bought her the mcnuggets and given them to her for free. Come on, it’s like five dollars. That is so sad. But it is alarming when strangers approach you at your car.
To answer your question, if I was ever in the situation where I was unable to afford food, I think I would steal before selling sex.
