Last night’s Golden Globes brought out a resoundingly pleasing slew of gorgeous gowns. Even at their worst, they weren’t that bad. I mean, look at Lea Michele. That one’s got me on the fence for sure. So, go ahead and take a look at our favorites and least favorites, and then you can tell us what you think. 

Best Dressed goes to…

Shailene Woodley - Girlfriend looks like a class act, top to bottom in this understatedly detailed strapless gown. She looks like it was built around her, but without looking showy or ostentatious.


Rooney Mara - She’s always dressed to win.

Unfavorites are:


Amanda Peet – This dress is probably gorgeous in person, but it’s not ideal for photos, and her sultry styling doesn’t match the ultra-girliness of the gown.


Sarah Michelle Gellar – I can appreciate this gown as great in concept, but it just sort of rings as Project Runway All Stars one-day-couture-challenge material. It’s overdesigned and unnecessarily showy.
