Why this show is called New Girl instead of Adorable Girl, I will never understand. Zooey Deschanel‘s lovably awkward character, Jess, is a style inspiration to all of us bow-loving, ultra-feminine, quirky gals.

Tiered Woven Tank, $27.50 from Forever 21; Romana Dream Bow Shorts, $34.99 from Ruche;
Cooperative Lace-Up Skimmer, 39.00 from Urban Outfitters; See You Next Hat-urday, $59.99 from ModCloth

Jess would wear this outfit on the weekend while shopping for craft supplies for her elementary classroom or watching her three roommates shoot hoops at the park. These peachy, neutral tones would compliment Jess’ complexion. Whether at the mall or the park, Jess won’t be able to help skipping in these lace-up skimmers and floppy hat.

Can Beryl-ly Wait Dress, $77.99 from ModCloth; Floral Cone Heels, $22.80 from Forever 21
Floral Spectrum 2-Set Headband,
$12.99 from Ruche; Floating Heart Studs, $9.00 from Francesca’s Collections

So far, we’ve seen Jess get all cleaned up on a few occasions including a wedding, a couple of dates and Schmidt’s holiday party-gone-awry. Assuming there will be a Valentine’s Day episode coming up, Jess should probably start online shopping for these cute pieces before all of you Lovelies snatch them up.

Fuzzy Pompom Slippers, $6.50 from Forever 21; Godetia Set, $44.00 from Anthropologie
Aerie Striped Robe,
$29.99 from Aerie

Even though we see Jess all dressed up for nights out and work, she seems to spend the majority of her time at the apartment in her PJs, robe or her skivvies. A lot of us may not put a lot of thought into these so-called outfits, but Jess still manages to look precious when she isn’t exactly dressed for the world to see. I would die for these Antropologie knickers and I can only imagine how fluffy those slippers are. Dance party in her underwear? Jess says yes.

What are your favorite Jess style moments? If Jess were a paper doll, what would you dress her in? What character’s style do you lust after?
