Well, at least I have. There’s nothing like those mornings where you roll over to check your phone and do two things. First, you breathe that sigh of relief that it’s there. Then, you click on your messages, and that relief is overcome with that feeling of “Crap, not again!” You scroll through your phone and see conversations that you would never have had sober, with people you’d only talk to when you’re drunk and maybe regret that last tequila shot. Well my fellow Lovelies, there is now a solution (and no it’s not turning down the shot). It’s the Don’t Dial app.

The app, which you can get for your Android or iPhone (sorry Blackberry users), allows you to program your phone in preparation for some heavy drinking. All you have to do is type the numbers of the people you don’t want to talk to into the app, and for 24 hours they will be erased from your phone and voila! No more drunk texting your ex or that late night booty call. If you’d rather give your friend the power, they can be your DD (Drunk Dialer) and set a password in case that’s the better route for you. Best part? It’s only 99 cents which is totally worth the price of your pride in the morning, no? [via TechCrunch]

But obviously, texting isn’t the only obstacle that’s faced when sipping on some liquid courage. We also have our trusty Facebook. There’s nothing like doing some Facebook creeping when you get home after a night out and seeing all the statuses that no matter what they actually say, tell you that the person is feeling nice and buzzed. The extra letters and misspelled words are always a good clue. Add onto that the fact that you can still comment, and let the madness begin. Now, if only there was a way to block access to that account too.

So what do you guys think? Would you download this app? Any other things you wish could be disabled when drinking? Best/Worst drunk texting story?
