Bey and Jay got hitched a while ago — although it stayed a secret ’til recently. However, since the wedding bell news broke, it seems everyone knows. Now an Ohio man, attacked by his buddy for not knowing, now knows too. Uh, yeah!

Apparently the two pals had been kicking it during a lazy night of TV time on New Year’s Eve when Beyoncé and Jay-Z appeared on screen together. The men got into a fight over whether or not the R&B power couple were wed. The argument ended when Ronald Deaver stabbed the other guy.

Fox 8 reports police arrested and charged Deaver with an assault felony.

The friend arrived at a local hospital in reportedly good condition. Here’s hoping a nurse or candy striper alerted him the imminent Babyoncé. That kind of ignorance might have warranted worse. [via Huffington Post]

This might be almost as looney as the crimes folks say Twilight forced them to commit. Maybe.
