I have but, it look’s a lot better when it’s not so drenched looking and on thicker head of hair… These Chicks look like they are losing their hair.

Yeah, definitely from gel. I hate walking out with hair that looks exactly like that but I do all the time due to laziness and because I know it will DRY very quickly. Why someone would want to have flat, wet hair is beyond me. Plus the amount of gel to make your hair like that causes crunchy hair, which is just NOT hot. (I’ve done it many times by accident. Be careful putting gel in if you have finely-textured hair. YOU DONT NEED MUCH!)

@MommyMarty22@xanga - Finely textured hair tends to look very flat and thin-looking when it’s wet, particularly when unnecessary gel (i.e. WEIGHT) is added in. This usually happens whether the hair is thin or thick.

Megan Fox’s hair in that picture looks like mine after 4-5 days of not washing it. WHY would someone want to look like that, especially when she has such beautiful natural hair?!

Yuk. It’s a case of the Emperor’s new clothes. They think they look great so the followers think they look great. But they don’t look great, just gross.

@DrummingMediocrity@xanga - Exactly my point, why would some one want that look? The wet look has been done but less drenched looking… I add mousse to my hair after I hand squeeze the excess water out and a little gloss spray and bam… A curly wet look with definition…

Well…I look like that most of the time (but only shortly after I’ve showered) because I like to air dry my hair…but I wouldn’t purposely apply product to make my hair look that way.  Megan Fox’s hair doesn’t look “wet,” it looks greasy like mine would if I didn’t wash my hair for a few days.

I really don’t like it.

I don’t mind if my hair is a little wet, but I never walk out of the house with it combed down straight down looking like I just stepped out from under the shower head… also, who would ever put product in their hair to achieve that greasy look? gross!

This is a fucking trend? I wear my hair wet cuz I don’t give a fuck about drying it. Why would people do this as an actual style…..?

I wear my hair wet because I like the natural waves it gets and don’t like using products other than shampoo/conditioner on my hair. But gel just makes it look greasy and gross.

Fashion trend could be really silly sometime.  I hate having greasy hair because it makes me feel dirty like I need to wash my hair.  So, no thanks I would not ever put products into my hair to achieve that look in purpose for fashion or no fashion.

HAHA I showed up to high school freshman year with my hair like this every day. I was too lazy to blow dry it since I had to catch a 6:10 bus. It took me a full year to realize NOBODY ELSE HAD WET HAIR! And now it’s a fashion trend?! I could’ve made friends! Haha

I like the idea, and I’ve seen wet hair that looks super sexy, but none of the above pictures look even remotely good.

@IdealBeauty@xanga - . Hahaha me too! Who knew we were trend setters as soon as we walked out of the shower. I don’t really like how it looks but I usually just hate drying it because I have a sensitive scalp.

lol, I didn’t even realize that this was ever a trend people used. I do it, but I actually have just gotten outta the shower. I like being clean, and smelling good, before I leave. The difference? It dries…. eventually….  =D

The only time I “rock” this look is if I have to leave the house before drying my hair…

And even then, I’d never try to KEEP it that way.

I’d understand if it’s summer and they want to sport the “just-got-out-from-the-pool” look, but it’ll look ridiculous in the dead of the winter.

i do the “wet hair look” when i am too rushed, or too lazy, to actually dry my hair. i will admit though, that sometimes i will add some product while it is wet, to try to head off the “crazy hair” and it ends up looking wet all day. *shrug* don’t think it’s a LOOK, but thats just me.

Haha what? I sometimes go to the shop with wet hair if I have just got out of the shower, but as a “trend”? This is why I always say that fashion is retarded.

I rock this look all the time… for about 20 minutes until my hair dries. 

I’ll be honest, I wash my hair before I leave to go anywhere.. but I also have curly hair and I make sure there’s volume to it and not flat. Flat is sooo not the way to go. Come on girls.. get with it.
