A retail shop in Madrid offered an exclusive discount offer today. Exclusive to only those willing to strip down to their underoos in line.
To get the completely free clothes, the store, Desigual, stipulated via their website that hopefuls should be among the first 100 underwear-only shoppers and in line majorly early.
Doors opened at 9 this morning to receive the nude-ish clothes fiends. It was about 34 degrees F then. Awesome! However, those tough enough to snuff out the frigidity got however many clothes he or she could carry from Madrid’s shop without dropping a dime.
Fans of Desigual’s San Francisco location might need to scout out some fresh panties — there’s talk of extending the quirky sale there soon. [via Huffington Post]
I’d definitely do this. What an excuse for wearing your exciting new styles out of the shop!
Would you ever go for this? Maybe if it were a bit warmer?
guest
Hell no. I wouldn’t stand half nekkid to “maybe” get a discount. Esp in freezing weather.
If it was a guaranteed thing, then definitely.

Nope.

I think the more important question here is whether or not anyone knows the phone number for the chick standing second from the left…

When it is only 34 degrees and I’m in my underpants I’d be afraid of my girlie parts juices freezing! So, hell no! If it was 94 degrees, hell yes.
guest
This is both exciting and concerning for a clothes-whore such as myself.

Sounds like fun. I’d definitely do it.
guest
I would do it in a heartbeat, any weather. This year for Black Friday I was at Best Buy Wednesday evening, camped out and had a grand old time
guest
I would totally do this. Free clothes and an excuse to show off my tattoos? Yes.
guest
lol yes, totally would. its the same thing as wearing your bathing suit so why not?

This isn’t much different than wearing a bikini to the beach. Not a big deal. But it’s too cold there.

If it were warm then yeah, but in 34 degree weather my nips would be stabbing everyone. Don’t want any lawsuits x]
guest
If it were for sure that I would get the free clothes, YES.
guest
If I liked the clothes in the store, yes! Its basically like going out in a swimsuit so..
But yeah. That cold might be a deterrent haha!
guest
If I was definitely going to get free clothes, I’d totally do it.
guest
In that weather? Hells no. In 70+ degrees? Yes. But I wouldn’t tell my momma about it.
guest
Oh yeah, plus it’d make trying the clothes on that much easier.
guest
YES. Can’t wait for the SF one!!!
guest
heck no…i like to be warm.
guest
@chawxmean@xanga - they do not get as many clothes as they want! Just a top, and a bottom. I don’t think thats worth standing in the cold.
guest
San Francisco isn’t that cold, so…yeah.
guest
I think I wouldn’t. The reason *why* I need clothes is to hide my ugly body…
orchid / 184 posts
Definitely would! I mean it’s just like walking around your house in your underwear except your outside. Why not!
guest
Probably. Lol.
guest
I might, All I can carry clothes would be pretty tempting right now and I can carry a lot.
guest
No lol. Unless the clothes were worth BANK.
guest
hell yes i would! free clothes? done deal.
daisy / 501 posts
It isn’t worth it for just one top and one bottom.
guest
The last time I went shopping in my undies was when I was 2 years old.
@under_the_carpet@xanga - chortles to your comment.
guest
Website says you get ONE outfit. Fuck to the no.
guest
haha!! no way! but Desigual does have nice stuff.
guest
yeah haha
guest
I’d get naked for free beer, or free orgy’s.
guest
Doesn’t that defeat the purpose? It’s like throwing up for free food.

Hmm, i’d do it here in SF, it’s not that cold (and you see people clad in less all year round because, well, it’s SF). EXCEPT, I’ve seen their store here, and the clothes are not worth it. They’re tacky.
guest
does a wife beater and men’s boxers count?

If it was “as many clothes as you could carry” as this post mistakenly states, absolutely, I’d be there. For the one top, one bottom that the sale actually offered? No way.
guest
I would if it wasn’t so cold haha.
