Annoying or not, publicity stunts or not, the fact remains that she’s an attractive and unspeakably rich, successful business woman. Kudos to her for that. At least she has actually done something to get where she’s at, unlike certain other celebrities *coughparishiltoncough*

I don’t understand why people get so violently aggressive toward her. Her life is none of our business. All this hype wouldn’t exist if people weren’t so goddamned nosy about other peoples’ lives in the first place. I have better things to do than get angry at how other people spend their money; like make my own money to spend how I please. 

Dear Kardashians,

as a late Christmas present to me, please get lost & never come into the spotlight again. You’ve not done anything to get so much money, and you blow it on silly things such as a 72-day wedding.

Instead, she milks the already recognizable Kardashian name and peddles an image she cultivated into a sellable product without any formal training. People gripe about the smell of Axe, too. But do people say that Axe’s marketing team is living off their employer? Not in the sense that people claim the Kardashian women live off their dad’s name, that’s for sure.

I like to think of myself as a normal person, and I use clip-in bangs, too.
If your hair is longer than, like, shoulder length… growing out bangs is a ridiculous, multi-year task. Who wants that when you could just clip them in for the night and go back to your regularly scheduled awesome haircut the next day?

@DrakonFyre@xanga - Seriously?  She’s worked hard and people need to mind their own business?  People paying attention to her life is how she got so rich.  “Reality” TV, her “wedding” and all the other publicity stunts.  All she does to get attention gets her paid millions.

@dream_guru5@xanga - My point stands that people need to mind their own damn business. Reality TV would flop if people cared more about their own fucking lives than the business and doings of everyone else. 

The only way for the Kardashians to become irrelevant is when everyone stop talking about them, be it praising or bashing, just stop and ignore them all together. It’s that simple.

do you realize by writing this post you’re sort of going against what you want?

it’s doesn’t really bother me what other people do with their money; if people want to spend money to attend those parties and hence make the club pay her a fat sum of money, so be it.

Bad publicity is still publicity, and the Kardashians have shown that they are willing to use it all to splash their name everywhere. I wasn’t saying that she’s a golden girl, but she does know how to manipulate and use people like us to get her name out. It’s clearly worked, or we wouldn’t be having these posts and discussions on lovelyish. =D

In all honesty, she makes me physically sick, I could NEVER watch her shows without getting bored or nauseous, she’s not attractive in my opinion and I’d rather be dirt poor than rich for the reasons she is.  Somehow I still read the articles.  It didn’t help that they were on the cover of Glamour and Marie Claire so I was forced into seeing them.  I wish the magazines wouldn’t stoop to such low levels of pushing them down our throats, nobody should care about the damn 72 hour or day marriage.  

Not going to lie, I get sick and tired of reading about how much money she makes for pointless crap. I’d love 600 k for a silly party! There’s a lot of good that money could be used for. Personally, I think most celebrities get paid way too much for what they do. But, such is life…

If you want people to stop paying attention to her, you got to start by not making posts on xanga about her. The ridiculousness of the reason to her popularity is what makes people notice her too!

You must  not want her to go away THAT much considering the fact you’re blogging about her.  That’s why she’s famous; people always have something to say.

Agreed, but I also agree with those who have said that blogging about her is counter-productive to the goal of making her disappear. Just saying.

@breakingthepath@xanga - the mom ‘cuz back in the day before they were famous no apparent reason.. bruce jenner her husband was famous in the olympics but the kardashians overshadow it now so people just started calling her kris kardashian so she was comtemplating on changing it back from jenner to kardashian just for the brand..

@CrAdLe2daGrAve@xanga - For me, they were little more than good fodder for an assignment… let’s just say that it’s easier for me to write six pages with substance about why the Krazies actually earn their paychecks than about why Jersey Shore is bad for morality. Not that I actually look up to them or even watch their rubbish, but they make their millions minus most of the skankdom that everyone else seems to need in order to get that much attention, and in a culture where supposedly shock factor dictates who’s on top that’s a bit of a feat. I’m not a fan of reality tv in general and love my foreign films and world music, but I get that at least Kim and her sibs are nothing to be embarrassed about… or not having the same starting assets for that matter. After some schooling, I probably could do advertising and product design like they do, and so could a lot of people. Your inability to argue is embarrassing, though, and I hope you learn how to for your sake because it gets used for a lot more than just making people sputter until they start insulting people and pointing out that they’re not millionaires
