It’s not exactly cutting edge when Christmas-celebrating folks stuff their pets head in a Santa hat. So is this driedel headband for your pooch kind of the Hanukkah equivalent?
I had a ball playing driedel growing up with my Jewish friends and I love that pug’s face above, so I’d like to vote yes on the cuteness from Etsy seller ilickyou.
What do you think? Is it a cool way to include your pet in the season’s festivities or another way to commercialize what should be a religious celebration?

I have trouble using animals that way. Isn’t it enough that they love us with every ounce of their sweet little hearts?

@Cestovatelka@xanga - Me too! I’m kind of obsessed with those squish-faced dogs.

So CUTE! Some dogs just hate it too much. My dog hated hats of any sort, but oddly liked to wear this ear muff band in the winter time when we’d go on walks
. Too cute, he never took it off like the other stuff, must have been warm :]

Whatever floats shoppers’ boats. I won’t be dressing up my pets in any holiday outfits because they will ruin it in minutes, and I happen to think the costumes are silly unless they are functional (keep my pet warm).

generally i don’t care how people dress their animals up as long as the animal is cool with it.
but since this is to combat more common holiday dog outfits here’s my two cents:
a santa hat = a hat meant for the head
reindeer ears = animal impersonation and the placement makes sense
this is a dog with a toy/symbol on it’s head though if you put that dog next to a dog wearing a christmas tree on it’s head i say it’s an equal comparison.
it’s still cute though haha
