Sure, let’s give out pricey makeup that probably wouldn’t even flatter half the guests. Stupid idea. Makeup is a great gift if that’s what someone wants but wouldn’t it be better to shop for colors that were requested or you know look good on the guest than to hand out Lancome’s single color samples? I’ve gotten to pick Lacome gifts and 99% of them are unused because they only came in colors that would be horrific on me.

Maybe, if price wasn’t an issue. But I think if I could afford to spend $60 for each guest on table gifts then I’d get something else. I could see two or three members of my family or friends that would enjoy this gift, the others would just pawn it off on someone else they know because they’d never use it.
