Just minutes ago Demi Moore issued a statement to E! News about her decision to end her six year marriage to Ashton Kutcher! 

The official statement reads:

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton, as a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.

Rumors of infidelity, on Ashton’s part, have been surfacing for the past few months and while the couple worked to maintain a unified front. Questions were raised when the actress stopped following her husband on Twitter back in September. 

Ashton has been accused of cheating with Sarah Leal, the woman he has been accused of having a one night stand with on the night of his and Demi’s six year anniversary. [via E! News]

Many questioned how long the relationship would last when news of the two dating was first released back in 2003, with sixteen years between the two. Not many people expected it would last as long as it did. Despite numerous cheating rumors the couple seemed happy. I for one really thought they were gong to make it. It is always sad to see a relationship end and we wish both parties the best.
