I never really cared much for long skirts, maybe it has to do with the fact that I have short legs and they makes me look shorter or just that I think short skirts were always cuter. And then I came upon these adorable asymmetrical skirts!
Best of both words. I love the styling of each of these because you can wear it completely casual with a graphic tank top as if you’re going to the beach, or you can get one made in chiffon material in black or white and wear it to a fancier event.
I think they have an amazing flair that both accentuates your wonderful legs yet still has that traditional long skirt effect. I haven’t seen too many around being sold in stores here in the U.S but the ones on Supre (Australian clothing site) are so cute!
Here are a few you can find online:
Holy Tee Polaire Maxi Skirt, $95.00 from shopbop.com
Stripe High Low Skirt, $83.00 from Revolve Clothing
Blu moon Yin Yang Skirt, $88.00 from Planet Blue
Have you Lovelies tried out an asymmetrical skirt? What do you think of this look?

I think some are cute, but I think some are way to short in front… so I guess I am on the fence. I might try a couple though if i can find some I really like.

When I read “ATM” I think “ass to mouth.”

They can be cute but when there is a huge difference, I don’t like how it looks.

I quite like the maroon one in the top picture. I’m short too, so long skirts are either too long or make me look dwarfed. I’ve never worn an asymmetrical skirt, but I might have to look into it. These are fairly cute. Of course, it’s about to be winter and it snows where I live, so I’ll have to post-pone this asymmetrical look until spring.

Those can look really pretty but I’m not sure if I can wear those to work. Shucks!

I want to like this trend, but I feel as though the cut of the skirts would make my legs look shorter and disproportionate. I suppose I’m willing to give it a try, though!

I love the black one in the last three pictures (but I wouldn’t pay $95.00 for it). I have ridiculously long legs, so short skirts are a no-no for me. I think this style is a great compromise. I like them. But I could find ones that look so much better than most of these pictured.

i like this look
my knees are the worst part of my legs though, so anything that shows them off is a no-no.
however, i have a leopard print topped dress with a black skirt at the bottom which does is the same as these skirts and i love it!
shame it doesn’t fit my big pregnancy belly, eh?
