From the omni-beloved Glee to newcomer series Once Upon a Time, this season’s slew of shows grow edgier in their leading ladies’ cuts.

FOX’s Glee kicked off its much-anticipated third season with a popular character, Quinn (Diana Agron), rocking a new hair fad. I already adore her, but her hip bob pushed me over the obsession edge. It looks shaggy and effortless, which I just love. The cut makes her look more grown-up and really exemplifies her character’s new overall ‘tude.

NBC’s new comedy series Up All Night features Christina Applegate and her lovely, flowing locks. Above, Christina appears with the classic center-part, gently waved hair. This trend is huge for hairstyles today. I personally love to rock it almost every day. The style shaves years off her appearance and gives her a low-key visual vibe.

Perhaps most stunning is Ginnifer Goodwin‘s new age pixie cut as shown on from ABC’s rookie Once Upon a Time. The piecey layers really accentuate her jaw-line and doe eyes. I hope to see more of this fierce style in the upcoming season.

Fall brought a lot of entertainment to our homes as well as a peak into new trends and style, as we have seen through the female characters’ hair, especially. I like how each of these actresses branch out and to make themselves stand-out more on the shows while exuding confidence.

What’s been your favorite hair style in fall’s TV line-up? Have any inspired you to hit the salon to imitate?
