Girls can grow so insecure about the way they look. I encourage everyone to take a step back once in awhile to identify and self-praise the things they love most about themselves.
1. My red hair Yup, I have red hair. You can’t always tell in pictures, because the shade could almost be described as auburn, but I love that it makes me unique. I get complimented on it all the time. I would never dye it because I love it as-is.
2. My freckles I don’t have a lot, just across the bridge of my nose, the tops of my cheeks, across my shoulders and a few on my arms. But I think they’re generally really cute!
3. My pale skin I know that a lot of people go crazy with tanning, but I actually dig my pale skin. It makes me stand out and I think the soft color is cute.
4. My hands The shape of my hands–weirdly enough–earn me kudos, too. Even though finding rings and bracelets to fit is a pain because of their small size, I really like them.
5. My nose For whatever reason, I feel it’s just the right shape and size for me!
Lovelies, what five things do you love most about your physical appearance? Spread the self-confidence and love!

Hm… I like my natural hair color as well, it’s brown but it has like 10 different shades in it. I like my dimple on my left cheek, my 32A’s, my height (5’0″), and my body shape
guest
In no particular order:
My fair skin
My natural hair color (although, I did just dye it red lol)
My bone structure
My collar bones/boniness in general
My hourglass figure
As for not-looks, I like…
My ability to see all sides of things
My humor
My love for natural things
My unprejudiced self
My energy
Of course, there are plenty of things that I can work on. For instance, I have very little patience for people who aren’t children. I can be pretty bitchy as a result of that. I can also be rather controlling. I also am not as knowledgeable about as many things as I would like to be. Also! I have absolutely no ability to shift out bullshit. I’m very gullible lol. I do like that I know what things I can improve on, though.
This cheered me up
Thanks Rae! I love your posts

@swtaznxtc90@xanga - SAMEZ. Ever since The Little Mermaid, I’ve had this crazy fascination with red hair.

You’re adorable and should love yourself!! Right on girlfriend!

1. my hair – I always get compliments on it even when it is a mess… I think it has to do with all the colors and the shine.
2. my freckles – my grandma always told me they were angel kisses, so I love them. (even though I know I inherited them from her)
3. My eyes – they change color
4. My feet – they are rather small for my height and I think they are cute. Apparently so does my SO.
5. my hands – they are small and petite. I take of them.

1. My butt. I got the Kim Kardashian thing going on and sometimes it brings unwanted attention but it makes up for me having small boobs lol. And a lot of guys actually prefer butt over boobs.
2. My hair. Not to brag but it is borderline perfect. It’s naturally pin straight but I can curl it given the right tools. And I have never had a problem with it being dull or limp. It’s blond and it actually shines in the sun.
3. My feet. Normally people think of feet as gross/weird, but I have been told me numerous people/pedicurists that my feet are really cute and soft. (The part that sucks is I’m a size 8 and so is everyone else in the world…buying shoes sucks sometimes.)
4. My hands. For a girl, they can be considered big I guess but I played basketball for 10 years and broke 6 out of 10 of my fingers. So they’re a little crooked but it gives me character. Also, I have to buy like size 8 or 9 rings so when I go to stores, they’re actually in stock.
5. My eyes. They’re bluish green but sometimes are pure blue or pure green. I love it because I can play with my eye makeup to play them up.

People find it so weird when I say I love my hands – glad to see I’m not alone! I love my skin too – I’m super pale but I do tan a little in the sun. As for the other three… probably my hair’s softness, my eyes which are kind of blue, green and hazel all at the same time, and my long face as it means I can pull off most sunglasses/hats/haircuts etc

God bless you for doing this and encouraging others.
Here are mine:
1. My strawberry-blonde, long, naturally straight, thin hair (I get jealous compliments on the thinness, though I’d kill for a little thicker lol)
2. My freckles
3. My lips
4. My curves
5. My eyes

My hair – There are times when I really hate it. But people compliment my curls and ask if they’re natural or permed. I’ve learned to appreciate its upsides. Also, my hair has these awesome natural little blond highlights throughout. I get asked if I color it sometimes. o_0
My eyes – They are green, and green is my favorite color.
My body type – When I was in 9th grade, my best friend pinched my shirt back to make me realize that I have an hourglass shape. Before that I used to hide my body under baggy shirts. It’s kind of a pain buying pants/skirts, because 9 times out of 10 the waist will be too loose, but oh well.
Being short – I’m 4’11″. I kind of hate it sometimes (Like when the little girl behind me in the checkout at Target yesterday asked her mom, “Is that a grown-up, Mommy?” but being short has advantages. I can still do things most of us grow too tall for, like using the kids’ monkey bars.
Aaand my boobs are finally the perfect size for me. 32C – Not as big as my previous 34D and not so small that I look child-like.

im jealous of people with freckles, especially nose freckles, i find them so adorable

1. Hair- dark, thick, curly, and always a mess
2. Eyes- they are very small. I know that big eyes are more attractive but I think the shade of green they are is very cool.
3. Legs- they are short, but there is a lot of definition in my thighs and calves
4. High Cheek Bones!
5. Mouth- I have big teeth and big lips but I like em

aw, you’re really gorgeous! and confident, which is cool.as for me..
1,2,3,4,5- nothing. haha

I love my pallid-ness and green eyes. Mostly because my eyes have specks of gold that are noticeable. kinda cool. :3

What size ring do you wear? I’m a 5 and 3 quarters, or maybe 2… I don’t even remember anymore.
I have smaller fingers, but my knuckles like to be stubborn, so I have to get a slightly larger ring to be able to fit over them. I like the look of my fingers, but I can’t stand jewelry on them because of how loose it feels to me. haha. I prefer it to fit JUST right. However, according to the Shane Co. employee, at least, I have an odd-sized finger. XD Haha. Made trying to size my wedding rings fun. ;P So, what size are you?

My eyes. My pupils are different sizes and my eyes change colour and seem to reflect my mood. They’re really green when I’m feeling strong, passionate, sad and horny. And they go almost yellowy brown when I’m feeling hollow or lacking emotion. Sometimes they’re bluey too.
Ermm, I like my freckles too
guest
1) My hip to waist ratio
2) My booty
3) My eyes
4) My freckles…to an extent (not when they eating my face after being in the sun all day)
5) My lips, including the mole right on the edge

@akarui_mitsukai@xanga - Oh my gosh, I actually have a post coming up about my ring size, haha. My fingers are actually a size 4, but my knuckles are too big, so i have to wear a size 5, and even then, I have to shove the ring over my knuckles. But once it gets there, it just flops around. =P

gotta love a woman with confidence.

Everyone’s insecure about the way they look. Guys just don’t like to admit it.

I think you have beautiful eyes

My hair color - it’s dark brown, dark enough that once in a while I’ll be asked when I dyed it black. It’s natural and I have one golden brown streak on the underside that you can see in the sun and while my hair isn’t anything special, it fits me really well and I love it :]
My eyes – in the right lighting they really stand out. They lighten and darken depending on my clothes and they’re blue. It’s my second favorite eye color after green. My eyelashes are not great, but they’re pretty dark.
My freckles – I have a TON of them on my shoulders and a few on my face, arms, and legs. I just like freckles in general.
I love your hair and eyes, by the way. If I could have any other hair color, it would be a deep red or auburn. You are VERY lucky!

Lovely post!

I love my butt….I was completely flat chested annnnd had no butt for years, then I had two kids and now I have a pretty nice butt….still no boobs, but at least i’ve got something!
I love my skin…it’s always soft even when I don’t moisturize…
I love my cheekbones and my lips
And even though my eyes are just boring brow, I love the shape of them
guest
I love this post.
I can’t think of five things I like, sadly. I only got three (my lips, my skin color and my birthmark). But hopefully, I’ll be as confident as you one of these days.

Like some other people have said- my hands! They are tiny but it means I can always find rings to fit me and I think they’re really pretty… and so does my fella
My eyes- they’re huuuuge and they are a nice color! Some people don’t like big brown eyes, but mine have a really pretty ring of green around them that really stands out as different and I get compliments on them all the time!
My frame- I’m quite tall for a girl (5’8″) but I am always always always described as tiny, because I have a small frame. My bones are small, so it’s almost like I’m a petite girl trapped in a taller girl’s body. It makes finding clothes a pain, but I don’t mind, because I look as long and thin as tall girls without being super tall!
And last but not least, my cheekbones! They’re high and defined and I think they help to play up my eyes. I have a weak chin that also brings the attention to my best feature, and I really like that it gives me a unique, almost “exotic” look that people aren’t used to. My boy says I look Mediterranian and my Spanish prof says I look Turkish, and I’m happy with being a mysterious mix
This was a really great idea, thank you for giving me an excuse to think of myself in a positive way for a change!

1. My complexion. Its always flawless and I do very little to it.
2. My eyes, they’re a dark blue and the shape of my eyes are slightly almond despite the fact that I’m completely western European. Its strange. 3. My fingernail beds. My hands were made for french manicures and playing the piano. 4. My feet, they’re very narrow so they look delicate even though they’re somewhat large (size 9).5. The small indent/split in the center of the tip of my nose. I think its cute.
guest
love this post. super cute. you go girl!
guest
No offense, but I don’t care.
guest
@Dada_Siegt@xanga - There’s a name for that indent in your nose you’re talking about- it’s called the “supratip” I believe, and it is highly desired in a slight form (as is yours, I can tell in your pic- I like it too!) in the plastic surgery world (yet nearly impossible to make with any great consistency, since it’s such a tiny detail). I had a nose job in the beginning of this past summer, so I did a lot of research beforehand, which is how I came across this
Indeed that is a very nice feature.

01. My Eyes – They’re blue, and I love the shade of blue they are.
02. My Teeth – My dentist told me they are in ‘perfect’ condition, they’re white, and I used to have a gap but it naturally closed up almost completely. I even love the little bit of my gap that’s left.
03. My Boobs – They’re big, fill out clothes well, and guys love them.
04. My Hips – Both my ass and hips are small, and even though it’s hard to find pants that fit because of it, I love the shape on my body.
05. My Jaw Line – Kind of an odd one, but I think my jaw and chin work well with my face.
