“As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, ‘I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger,’” Brandon Kelly said, according to Access Hollywood, after he was arrested on Tuesday for his questionable gesture.
Tiger wasn’t exactly stoked. “Some guy just came running on the green, and he had a hot dog, and evidently … I don’t know how he tried to throw it, but I was kind of focusing on my putt when he started yelling,” Tiger told the AP. “Next thing I know, he laid on the ground, and looked like he wanted to be arrested because he… put his hands behind his back and turned his head.” [via Access Hollywood]
What’s the craziest thing a movie has inspired you to pursue? Hopefully something a bit more meaningful than tossing fair food and didn’t result in arrest.

@missmerlot@xanga - When you’re focusing on something IMPORTANT, you don’t want a crazy asshole throwing a hot dog at you. Same reason you get punched in the face by the goalie for waving your arms in his face when he’s trying not to let your team score when you’re playing hockey.
That guy is an attention whore, and Tiger’s caddie should have KOed his ass with a nine iron.

I wasn’t joking though, if he would have chuckled at the ridiculousness of a hotdog being thrown at him maybe people would go a little easier on him. He hasn’t exactly earned himself a great reputation, not saying that he deserves things to be thrown at him. Its all about how you handle the situation. He didn’t handle it at all.

@missmerlot@xanga - Yeah, Tiger’s a dick. Still though, I can see why he reacted the way he did. When your concentration’s that intense, you don’t want ANYTHING fucking it up. Hence why hockey goalies punch out guys that start waving their arms in their faces.
