My mom has a 12 year old teacup chihuahua and he was LITERALLY the size of a teacup when we got him at 8 weeks old. I even have a picture with him next to a teacup. He’s only like 5 lbs now, if that.

It’s actually kind of sad what they’ve bred into these puppies to make them small. There’s dogs dying out there and they’re breeding little dogs for money. =/
They are extremely adorable, but they also have a lot of health problems for being so miniscule. A friend of mine has a full grown chihuahua that is weighed in ounces and she was prone to breaking her little bones even if she jumped off the couch. She had a cast on last I saw her from jumping from the couch, and so now my friend has to tote her around and bought stairs for the sofas, the bed, and anything else she manages to get on top of so she doesn’t break her bones anymore.

@ask_ashleyyy@xanga - haha, nope, he looks like a big cuddly teddy bear like my dog did when he was a puppy. Gotta love large breed puppies.
They are adorable, but they are sooo breakable and delicate. I wouldn’t know what to do with it! I like bigger puppies that can take some roughing around.
