Between the fashion week neck candy and rain of pearls down Chanel’s spring runway, Sophie Monet and I had one thing on our minds: DIY.
After a quick brainstorm we settled on this pearl collar necklace which I have a feeling will be the final layer on dresses and tops all fall long.
Full instructions right this way!
What do you think of the collar necklace? Will you try to rock one?

I love pearl necklaces.

I don’t like the scalloped look, I’d personally rather make it just one large crescent collar. The only thing I’d advise against in this DIY is gluing the pearls on. If you want it to be done super fast, then that is one way to do it, but I would reinforce the pearls by adding stitches in between each to hold them on a little bit more firmly.

I don’t mind pearl’s or anything, but this is really tacky.

I’d make collar/bib necklaces to sell, but never for myself. I have no idea what I’d wear them with :-\

This is a great idea, but I feel like pearls are meant to be worn as simply as possible.
