All white everything was the theme at the Comme des Garçons show at Paris Fashion Week this past weekend. The collection, described as “White Drama”, tracked the progression of life from birth to marriage to death through a series of dramatic structural designs. I wonder if we’ll be seeing any of this on Lady Gaga soon?

The designs featured delicate white lace contrasted with heavy satins and exoskeletal cages. The Fashion Spot writes, “It was clear the feminine nature of the garments paired with bound wrists, arms, and overwhelming proportions were meant to provoke thought about the bounds and restrictions of femininity.” (source)
