It seems the newest fad in Hollywood is getting a television deal. Movie stars such as Minka Kelly, Zooey Deschanel, Ashton Kutcher, and Kat Dennings have all left the theaters to grace us with their presence at home. The newest star to join in on the fad is Dane Cook.
According to Perez Hilton, Dane Cook has officially made a deal with NBC for a new comedy series. He will be the creator and star of the show. The half-hour long episodes are slated to start next fall.
I find Dane Cook occasionally entertaining, but a whole television series? I don’t know if he can handle the pressure of being funny that often without resorting to vulgar stories and crude words. Still, I’ll probably give the show a try and watch the pilot in the fall.

As someone who doesn’t hate Dane Cook and finds him occasionally funny, I don’t consider myself a douchebag fan. I don’t think I’ll watch the tv show, but good luck to him.

I find Daney to be more vulgar and crude than funny. Still, he says some funny things. But he always seems to me like he’s trying too hard. it’s like “close ur mouth”
