Admittedly, I am not a huge Justin Bieber fan.  I don’t know why, but I just don’t understand his appeal.  I may not like him, but even I have to admit that his latest date with Selena Gomez was beyond cute.

Justin surprised Selena Gomez with a private viewing of Titanic in the Staples Center. A whole stadium to themselves to watch one of the most epic romances of our time.  Isn’t that the nicest date that you’ve ever heard of?

He pulled off the surprise by first taking Selena to friend Demi Lovato’s concert at the Nokia Theater next door.  Afterwards, he told her to “come with me” and took her underground to the Staples Center.

The best part is that he didn’t spend a dime. The Staples Center is so grateful to Justin for playing three shows there that they decided to lend out the Center for free since it wasn’t being used that night any way.

How did Justin come up with the idea, you might ask? He watched Mr. Deeds and stole the idea from when Adam Sandler takes Winona Ryder on a date in Madison Square Garden.  Well, at least we know there’s a little teenage undertone in the romantic gesture.

Still, this is probably one of the best dates that I’ve ever heard of.  I can’t blame Selena Gomez for wanting to be with him if he does cute things like this all the time.
