Last week, @jessica informed the Lovelyish team that we received an invitation to a Bridesmaids DVD release party, and asked if anyone wanted to go. An event that included free drinks, food, and spa treatments, I was all in!

The day finally arrived and Tuesday night, Jessica and I attended probably one of the most girliest events ever. But I must admit, the both of us had a blast.

In order to follow the bridesmaid theme, the party took place in Gary’s Loft in the Garment District of Manhattan. Upon entering the swanky all-white loft, at least 100 girls were already sipping on cocktails and drinks provided by Yellowtail, and we were quick to join in. Throughout the night, we also enjoyed munching on assorted candies that included gummy bears, Skittles, and Dove chocolate. Small appetizers were also served, and when I say small, I mean tiny, like the size of a quarter. Regardless, the vegetarian spring rolls and shrimp were super delicious.

Fortune readings and photo op sessions were available in one side of the room (see our photo above), while the film itself was being shown in the other. Free spa treatments were also available, including eyebrow shaping, manicures, and 10-minute back massages, but we didn’t make it to the event early enough to be able to get a spot on the waiting list. I guess this was a must on every girl’s to-do list. I know I needed to get my eyebrows done.

One of the more exciting aspects of the event was the bouquet toss. It occurred three times throughout the night, with the hostess, Carolina Bermudez from Z100, giving the toss. Unfortunately, Jessica and I were not able to catch any of the bouquets, but the lucky girls who did received prizes, including a $100 gift card to Victoria’s Secret. *Insert jealous face here.*

At the end of the night, we received a goodie bag filled with 2 individual bottles of Yellowtail, a water bottle, nail filler, ear buds, a compact brush, and a tank top with a rhinestone studded “Bridesmaid” on it. No free DVD! But still, we weren’t complaining.
