well, people do wear fat suits and poke fun at fat people on halloween. they more than likely have an eating disorder as well  (binge eating, over eating, bulimia, etc. who knows?)
I’m not saying either costume is right. I would never portray myself as someone who is suffering from a mental illness. I’m disturbed that people even have the lack of human compassion and empathy to design OR wear something like this.

I think if I saw someone wearing this on Halloween I would bitch-slap her.  I will be dressed as Cyndi Lauper and ready to kick some asses.

Hey, maybe they could make a depression costume with a makeup kit to paint cuts on your arms, wouldn’t that be cool?  Or how about an OCD costume with a little bottle of hand soap on a keychain?  Christ almighty. 

To each their own, I guess.  I wouldn’t say it’s worth the $50 price tag, though.

the dress is kinda cool. i don’t know why people are all offended. -_-  people dress up as crazies in straight jackets, as serial killers (dexter), as fat people, as baby and mom sick attatchment costumes EVERY year. costumes that are insulting to many people, if they were to take it so personal. but no one is making a big hissy fit over those calling them insulting.  being mentally unstable isnt cool, serial killers affect families world wide and communities, fat people wouldnt like being made fun of for their size…. like come on people. get real. its a costume, every costume insults someone, dont take it up the ass. the costumes catchy name and slutty look will cause many sales.
