Glee‘s Chord Overstreet graduated from McKinley High, and has moved onto guest starring as a fourth grade teacher on The Middle.

It seems that since Glee wasn’t willing to make Overstreet’s character Sam a series regular, he decided to pass up on the ten episode contract and pursue other options.

I know I’d be pretty happy to have him as a teacher. I wouldn’t miss a single class.

Overstreet will be guest starring on The Middle on the September 28th episode at 8 pm on ABC. Do you think he’s ready for a different role? Will you be tuning in?
