I vote NDP, and although I love the party itself, she shouldn’t be representing an image like that… Jack Layton died not long ago, show some respect, dress proper. All eyes are on the NDP’s since Mr. Laytons death, self-image is important, we want a good rep!!

Its not so much about being a prude as it has to do with professionalism. Sure other cultures don’t sexualize breasts but their dignitaries are still seen wearing much more professional attire. Its more about being professional than anything else.

They probably should have just suggested she take a different picture with a more professional top. I mean, most people working at a bank or going to meet with clients wouldn’t wear a top like that. It’s not that cleavage is inherently trashy or inappropriate. It’s just not considered professional. She looks like someone who could be fun to hang out with, not necessarily someone mature enough to lead in the area of politics. We shouldn’t judge books by their covers, it’s true, but that doesn’t mean the cover doesn’t matter!
