Crazed Missoni fans (including yours truly) came together Tuesday morning to crash the Target website in search of mass produced Missoni-print goodies. Those who went to brick-and-mortar shops were just as unlucky – many sold out all of their Missoni products within an hour.
Online shoppers reported outrage at the Target website for crashing every time they attempted to check out with their chosen items. Some found more success using the Target shopping application on their iPhones, but even when they could get the website to load it continually crashed at checkout.
In-store shoppers reported lines of 100+ people waiting to get into Target stores around major cities. Within 60 minutes, the shelves in many Target’s resembled the picture below.

because Missoni is a legit Italian designer, you know, with those intense designer prices. so when they teamed with cheap chic target, everyone was like aghhhhhhh!

The one time I got on the website yesterday I managed to get a few things before they were sold out
But I don’t know why everyone went to crazy on the first day, they’re sure to get more product in a week or two. And I think it’s disgusting that people bought stuff just to sell on ebay, some things for hundreds of dollars. I’d rather buy something from the real Missoni collection with hundreds of dollars rather than something from Target.

I got there late. I wish I would have went before work. My first meeting wasn’t until 10:00 am and I didn’t teach until 1:00. I ended up scoring a blouse and a trench coat. I almost got the leggings in the picture, but I am over leggings perhaps until they come back in style again. They had shoes left in my size, but I didn’t like them that much and I thought (as did everyone else where I live) the rain boots were ugly. They also had this skirt left in my size, but I think it is a little short.
Seeing the insane prices they are selling this stuff for on Ebay, makes me wish I had left the tags on and put them up for bid.

Seriously, pissed me off (the website being down, not the stuff running out). It’s not like the stuff was even cute.
I just came back from Target like 2 hours ago & they had plenty of stuff. I saw the cutest rainboots (the only cute thing really) for only $30! But at my university, they all shop at Target, so I forsee at least 10 girls wearing them.

I’m never ordering from Target online again, or shopping at their stores. Still waiting on an order from almost 3 weeks ago, and they shipped the wrong thing.
Oh, and I didn’t know what Missoni is. I went to their website and…UGH. Who gives a crap about that?
