It clearly sounded like “BLACK HOLES” to me not “black whores” lol; why would someone even believe that a cartoon greeting card that geared toward children from Hallmark would say the word “whore” or any foul language in it, anyway?

Someone really has nothing to do except stroll around Hallmark looking for racist cards? I got this card for my cousins graduation and i played it over and over and over again and never did I hear the word “whores.” I always heard “yeah you black WHOLES” they clearly say the “L.” I don’t know what is wrong with these people. I love hoops and yo-yo!!

Let’s be clear, the NAACP does NOT speak for all black people in America and in many ways, I think the NAACP is falling out of step with black people of today.  Rather than fight to build stronger black communities and reduce violence in the ghettos, the NAACP has been reduced to a joke because this is what people think of when they think of what the NAACP does nowadays. By using your organization’s cloat to focus on dumb trivial shit like this, you undermind REAL concerns that black people are actually struggling with.

I got this card for my graduation last year… I didn’t think it was racist at all, and I’m usually quick to say, “That’s racist!!” jokingly to something that isn’t racist at all.

Since I dropped out and got my GED, don’t have any kids, am not the first in my family to attend college, not going for any sort of nursing degree, and my parents make just enough together, I’m pretty fucked financially. I just don’t get why I couldn’t qualify for government financial aid… I wasn’t even living in the same state as my parents. I was told because I’m not 24 my parents are still expected to help out. Haha I actually got this card for graduation 2 years ago. Never once did I think it said whores. I heard holes too.. and when they say “watch your back” they clearly say “and you planets” before it so it’s not like it was “and those black holes (or whores), you better watch your back”

They voices are cartoony and it doesn’t even make sense for them to be saying black whores. Ugh, this is stupid. It was stupid 3 years ago.
