New Yorker Lara Lundstrom recently claimed that actress Gwyneth Paltrow is responsible for saving her life on the day of 9/11 nearly 10 years ago. Shockingly, Paltrow confirmed the story, saying it is all true.

Lundstrom recalled the incident saying:
“It was one of those mornings that felt good, you had a little skip in your step. What the heck – I always cut across 7th Avenue. Then all of the sudden a silver Mercedes SUV came barreling down towards me. I stopped and they screeched to a halt. Then it developed in to one of those classic who-goes-first situations. It got ridiculous. Then I made eye contact with the Mercedes driver. OMG it was Gwyneth Paltrow.”
Lundstrom said her encounter with Paltrow caused her to miss her subway to work, which in turn, saved her life.
“At that time I was annoyed at everything that had made me late that day, including Gwyneth Paltrow.”

After missing her train, the woman came up from the subway only to hear the news that a plane had hit the first Twin Tower.

I think this is an amazing story, I’m just surprised it took this long to be acknowledged.

What do you think of this story, Lovelies? Do you believe in fate in situations like this?
