RT: W00t, guys! Stop cyberbullying my boyfriend about those photos of his hideous mankini, and just let me sext in my jeggings in peace. [Gizmodo]

I love the use of all the words in a sentence. I am not a huge fan of when the dictionary adds modern words. I can kind of see all these new additions except for woot. Just, no.

Language evolves. I like that the Oxford dictionary is a testimony to how words go in and out of “style” and how new words develop as technology and society develops. It is a record of how we communicate. Sure these words make me cringe but it is a word that people use to communicate so it goes in the Oxford dictionary. I am sure most of these words will fall out of use as quickly as the word “coquinate” did.

Love the sentence!
I’m slowly disliking the English language :/ I’m for cyberbulling, and MAYBE woot, but… yeah. No.

@UnconventionalButterfly@xanga - I get ads too. Fucking aggravating.
This kind of thing, though, in response to the post… makes me sad. The degradation of the English language much? A commenter above said that it’s a record for how we communicate, and communication evolves… which is true… but I feel that we should hold on to intelligence. It just seems like it’s breaking down, getting worse, and it’s embarrassing. Am I the only one who feels that way? Language used to be so beautiful, now it’s… THAT.
