This past weekend, I was flipping through the channels on my TV and out of boredom, decided to stop on a channel showing a black and white film. I’d never been much for black and white films, but as I watched it, I slowly started getting involved in the plot and drama, and found myself enjoying it.
I loved the musical, Singing in the Rain (Singin’ in the Rain (Two-Disc Special Edition), $26.98 from Amazon). Have you ever watched it? Go rent it out, now!
What is your favorite black and white film?

A lot of the old silent movies, especially Chaplin, Harold Lloyd and Buster Keaton. Also love the Marx Brothers and Laurel and Hardy. Saw the Movie ‘Some Like It Hot” which was wonderful. There are so many I love and can’t think of too. I grew up in the 1970s, so we were always watching B/W movies on the TV.

Citizen Kane, and Dr. Strangelove (how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb).

“Arsenic and Old Lace” Is absolutely my favorite and I love when I catch it on TV… even though I own it on DVD! lol
I actually made my xanga name based on that movie… I had to changed “old” to “red” since the other name was already taken by another xangan
I actually am quite a fan of black and white movies.
I love a glass of wine, curling up with a comfy blanket and watching a good classic.

@markearthtourist@xanga - oh!! “Some Like it Hot” is good too!!
I honestly don’t think it’s very easy to cut it down to only a couple of favorites.
