While there may be a lot of rumors as of late about the fate of some of the Glee cast after the end of next season, producers have revealed the 4 new characters who’ll make Season 3 quite interesting, including 2 mean girls, a mean teacher, and a new love interest for Mercedes.

According to TV Line, Glee will introduce 4 new people at McKinley High next season:

  • Sugar: One of the mean girls who is best described to be like Danielle Staub on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but in high school. She’s “affluent, self-confident, and a godawful singer.”
  • Sheila: Another mean girl who is a “modern-day Joan Jett” complete with tattoos.
  • Bubba: Mercedes new beau (So, I guess her and Sam’s relationship doesn’t last!) who, like Sam, is on the football team as the new linebacker and who Mercedes starts dating over the summer.
  • Nancy Bletheim: A 60-year-old something geometry teacher who doesn’t think the arts belongs in schools (That should pose quite a problem for “New Directions!”).

So, we should expect to see 2 mean girls, Mercedes’ new boyfriend (Once again, poor Sam!), and a teacher quite similar to Sue Sylvester next season.

Season 3 should be an exciting one!
