We all have those television shows that we absolutely loved; the shows that we rushed home to watch or just couldn’t get enough of. Unfortunately, not all shows get to stay on air for what feels like forever. Even more unfortunate is that some get canceled before they even have a chance to really go anywhere.

1. Freaks and Geeks

Freaks and Geeks: The Complete Series, $69.99 from Amazon

This show had so much potential, seriously though, the cast was everything they should have been. Who doesn’t love a show about about high school kids who just don’t seem to fit in? Even better, who doesn’t love a show that features a young and mischievous James Franco?

2. Boy Meets World

Boy Meets World: The Complete First Season, $19.98 from Amazon

Who didn’t love Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence? Seriously, they were like the perfect couple, and you know that you still want a love like theirs! As a kid the show was really educational; you could learn all the necessary life lessons from it! I completely understand why this show came to an end, but it was sad to see it go.

3. Daria

Daria: The Complete Animated Series, $72.99 from Amazon

Daria was my spirit animal. In high school I could have sworn we were the same person. This is the show is the only thing that MTV did right when it comes to not playing music. It was full-on satirical, as well as full of sarcasm and commentary on pop culture. It had the perfect amount of angst and carelessness.

4. My So-Called Life

My So-Called Life: The Complete Series (w/Book), $69.99 from Amazon

So maybe I wasn’t old enough to understand the show when it first aired, but you can’t deny, it was a great show. It dealt with issues that are relevant to teenagers’ lives. They didn’t do it by sugar coating the situations and the problems weren’t solved at the end of the episode, either. Also, I can’t be the only one that wanted Jordan Catalano to be my boyfriend!

5. Veronica Mars

Veronica Mars: The Complete First Season, $59.98 from Amazon

The cancellation of this show was so uncalled for! They didn’t even end it on a good note. There was still so many things that needed to be wrapped up, and questions to be answered! Though, I must say Kristin Bell is brilliant through it all and she really knows how to draw a person in.

These were some of my favorite shows that got the axe. What are some of yours?
