As a Selena Gomez fan, I have been waiting on pins and needles for the young star’s tribute to the princess of pop, Britney Spears, on her concert tour. Well, the first video has finally surfaced, and OMG it’s amazing! Selena starts with “Baby One More Time” and goes all the way to “Hold It Against Me.”
While the audio quality wasn’t the best, I am still jumping out of my seat right now in pure pop music joy. It sounded similar in structure to the famous Chris Cox Megamix, but I’m a sucker for Britney medleys, so I’ll gladly take everything.
Also, who else was impressed by Selena’s dancing?

I actually found it to be boring. And I don’t think she’s a good dancer, either. She does weird, awkward things with her arms when the moves aren’t choreographed, too. Don’t get me wrong, I like her, I’m just not impressed with this.

The moves work better on Britney… it’s sort of awkward on Selena. But nonetheless a great performance.

@nihaokeisha@xanga - Yea. I’ve been noticing her arm movement thingies since she began performing. It’s like she’s trying to be sexy or do some dancey type movements, but I don’t get the idea she’s actually comfortable doing it or actually good at dancing. Her dance moves, esp here, seem really passive and limp.

i would have to agree about the dancing, as @merquryd@xanga stated. that’s always been my opinion too since day 1. but i do like the girl.

It would probably have stirred a lot of controversy if she opted for just a bra and so I LOVE how she wore a nude mesh top instead! Her outfit was super cute
