I think it’s kind of lame to act as though you know for certain it was her who killed Caylee. She was found innocent by a jury, and I’m pretty sure most people on that jury would at least feel it right to put a baby killer in prison. And if they’d been able to convict her, they would have. Everyone watches bits and parts of her trial on TV and suddenly we’re all legal experts. Hey guys, it’s like, real-life CSI! Well, we all know OJ must have done it so this must be just like that situation! (Actually did read a status on Facebook that read, ‘Casey Anthony found innocent. Maybe her and OJ can be best friends.’ -harharhar)

I, however, am not going to kid myself. I am not knowledgeable of every detail that the jury was shown, but I have seen helmet-haired Nancy Grace blathering on about ‘Tot Mom’ and people I know watching it and drinking up every word. And watched parts on TV, heard about it in the news. If she did do it, well she’s out now and will have to deal with people’s hate, not to mention the guilt of what she did, for the rest of her life. Some idiot will probably try to make an attempt on their life, even though it is an act that would, in turn, land them in jail. And if she really didn’t do it, she’ll still have to take hate from the masses of people who’ve never even met her, and are largely judging her by a picture painted by the media’s speculations. I’m not going to pretend I’m certain one way or the other. Who, knows, maybe years from now new information will surface, revealing it to be that her parents were the ones responsible, and we’ve all been booing the wrong person?

But hey, that’s just my two cents.

And the Hustler thing? Well, that’s really poor taste, though kind of unsurprising. :/

Good job, Hustler.  Bunch of fucking asshole pigs.  I didn’t follow the case that closely and, since I don’t know anything about forensics or criminal investigation and since I wasn’t there, I don’t have an opinion on whether she did or didn’t do it.  In either case, for them to entertain such an idea is about as fucking low as you can go.  But then….it is Hustler.

Why would anyone ignore a potential for major profit simply for “poor taste”? In fact, I would think that would increase profit. Money is very important in this world, and pretending it isn’t is foolish idealism . I say go with what’s on the public’s mind!

Every penny that woman “earns” from anyone taking her “story” is blood money.  Period.  A jury convicted Scott Peterson for the murder of his wife on less evidence than what was found concerning this woman.  I pray for her salvation, but she needs to be in a jail cell at the very least…

Media will only talk about subjects that get a rise out of their audience.  Aside from being unwilling to speak badly about their bosses and political affiliation(s), the number of eyeballs drawn to (or repulsed from) the screen or page is what determines the subject and related content.  It is pointless to make a big deal about how much you dislike something or someone being in the limelight (outside an interest related poll) as it will do nothing but help them stay there.  So instead simply search for and click on only the content that you want to see.  A search term, as is simply accessing a page, is a sort of vote in favor of specific content.  News sites are generally good at catering to active viewers’ interests based on somewhat generalized statistics.  Who knows, it is possible by now that many of them will figure out your personal reading interests and show you a personalized front page.  Just keep your browser cookies (make sure they don’t get deleted) for your favorite news sites that do this.  And make sure to not click on links for content you wish would go away.

And what makes you so sure she killed her daughter? Were you there? Please I’d love to know. 

I wasn’t at the trial and I didn’t hear all the evidence.  As sick as the outcome makes me, it is what it is…if the jury honestly couldn’t convict beyond a reasonable doubt, they did the right thing.

Does the fact that this woman could get $500k for posing nude still make me sick?  Absolutely.

This is really a messed up world we live in. 

@TheTheologiansCafe@xanga - There’s good crazy – the adventurous, go-getter, fun kind of crazy.   And then there’s the crazy of someone who kills her own kid.  It’s disappointing to see a company (and it’s customers) support the latter.  Maybe that’s just me.

You’re setting a dangerous precedent by saying that people who are found innocent for a heinous crime should be allowed to make money in any legal way they want. Yeah, you may think she was guilty, but our justice system found her innocent. Does that mean she definitely didn’t do it? Of course not. But if you have a problem with this, then your problem is with the justice system. Until that’s changed, you have to accept that some people will slip through the cracks (I’m not saying she did, but it’s possible). But that doesn’t mean that you should be banned from having a job because you were charged with murder. That’s just silly.

the thing is, people don’t have to buy the magazine. people have subscriptions to it so whether or not they’ll want the magazine, they’ll be getting it. which is sad for the people who don’t even wanna see it. it’s sick that she “got away” with killing her daughter and is becoming rich off of it.

I don’t think it’s that she’s that desperate, I think Hustler realized lots of people would buy their magazine if she does this.  Business can often be devoid of morality.

This is great news! The chick is super hot and I can’t wait to see her naked. Whether or not you believe she killed her daughter is beside the point. A jury found her not guilty and she has every right to make money off her sex appeal. It’s not like she could earn a living any other way thanks to you judgemental assholes.

Man, if I were her I’d take the deal and use the money to move to a country where nobody knew who I was and start my life over. She was found not guilty due to a lack of evidence, and unless you were on the jury or attended every day of the trial, I think you have no right to determine innocence or guilt. Get over it.

How can anyone possibly think the world isn’t evil, after reading this? Even if, for argument’s sake, she is innocent….why on earth would you want someone who may have killed their child in your magazine?!?!

@blackspiders@xanga - I was like the majority of America…I was so angry she got off…that is until I watched when one of the juries interview… She said Casey Anthony had the death penalty. So, if she was found guilty she would have been put to death. That’s why they really, really had to see evidence that actually proved she killed her daughter. The jurors didn’t want to convict her, have her die, and then realize she didn’t really do it. That would have been HORRIBLE. And, that totally makes sense…Death is serious, and you can’t just kill people based on a “hunch.”

This is… I just…. I can’t believe she’s profiting off of the death of her daughter – the one that SHE murdered! THIS is one of the many reasons why the world is so messed up! I can’t believe anyone would offer that piece of sh*t anything. I can’t even respond in the normal manner that I do because I am so ticked off the only thing I can think of are cuss words. This is just… DISGUSTING!

Casey Anthony deserves a lifetime in jail. Not all this glitz and glamor! What a whore!
