I am certainly a jeans girl. I wear comfy jeans instead of sweatpants; on dates I wear jeans, not dresses or skirts. I have worn countless pairs and brands of jeans in my lifetime. Needless to say, I have narrowed down the search to five key brands that I tend to not stray from.
1. American Eagle. I started wearing these in middle school and have not stopped since. These are where I get my every day jeans. They’re nice enough to have a polished look but comfy enough too. I have hear horror stories of brand new pairs getting holes in them after one wear, but thankfully this has never happened to me. I still have a pair from freshman year of high school and they have not failed me yet.
2. Levis. (Jeans, Classic Bold Curve Bootcut Leg, Broken Black Wash, $49.99 from Macy’s) I get a multitude of different purpose jeans here. I recently got a pair of black skinny jeans from there than can easily transition from day to night with a change of top. I have an old pair that I would never wear in public but I throw them on first thing when I get home. Some of my every day jeans are Levis, making this brand have a plethora of uses.
3. Pacsun (Bullhead). While the skinny jean trend has been around for years, I only recently gained the confidence to wear them. My first pair came from Pacsun. I notice that their skinny jeans have a different fit than other stores (the area around the ankle is slightly tighter than others). They are tight enough to give you that sleek, sexy, look but not too much to cut off your circulation.
4. Vigoss. I don’t own many of these. They can be found at Nordstrom and are very expensive. Yet, they look amazing on me. I am only 5’2 and yet they make my legs look so long. Everyone has their perfect pair of jeans and mine so happen to be Vigoss. Unfortunately, I rarely have $70 or more to shell out on jeans.
5. Forever 21. (Heritage 1981 Five Pocket Skinny Jeans, $24.90 from Forever 21) Considering the pricey choice above, I felt it would be appropriate to include something slightly more affordable. I love Forever 21 to death and have only recently started wearing them out. It’s the perfect price for trendy jeans.
What is your favorite brand of jeans, Lovelies?

Vigoss, American Eagle, and Bullhead. Those are the only three brands I buy.

I’m positively coveting those Vigoss jeans in #4… oh my lord. AND I NEED NEW JEANS. IT’S PERFECT!
Except I’m broke lololol

Lucky tends to make the best jeans for my figure. I love them and they last forever which is a huge plus for the price I’m paying,

I love American Eagle jeans.

I love my Levi’s.

I have no idea where to get jeans. I fit a size 10 now and previously had only been wearing the plus size jeans from Lane Bryant. (Which are amazing, btw) But, since I’m no longer plus size I don’t know where to look. I’m petite and need jeans to fit a bum and hips, any ideas where to look? I like straight legs.

American Eagle and Pac Sun pants are amazing.

I don’t have a favorite brand of jeans..I just buy jeans mostly from the thift stores and thus they are always different brands.

Levis and Mudd jeans all the way.

I used to wear levi jeans. I wear jeans by bubblegum, mavi, l.e.i., and basically whatever they have in the juniors section that looks cute, fits me and is reasonably priced. I’ve bought jeans at those stores similar to forever21, such as papaya, v generation, and others that vary by mall location. I have jeans from delia’s/alloy that weren’t a famous brand but it fits me nicely even without trying it on. lots of spandex is the key
lol

sevens, sometimes rock and republic, the end

Vigross is much cheaper on Alloy.com ($20 on clearance, $40 on regular).
I swear by 7 for all Mankind and AE jeans.
guest
@Murphy_Rants@xanga - Try Aeropostale or Pac Sun.
guest
American Eagle and Abercrombie. Pac Sun jeans are amazing at first, but my skinnies wore out quickly.
guest
silver and bke are my favorites. they’re expensive as hell though so i only own 3 pairs. i would live in ae though b/c of the price and fit if the 8s werent too big and the 6s too small. (that’ll probably change after this baby though)
guest
Levi’s.
guest
totally agree with american eagle. they’re comfy, fit well, and last forever

Delias has some nice jeans– if you get them on clearance they’re like $20 instead of $50…
I also really like AE jeans. I’ve been a fan since middle school!Last fall I bought a pair from Old Navy that I really like too. They’re stretchy and comfortable and look nicer than $20 jeans.

Hollister and Abercrombie jeans last foreverrrrrrrrrrrr!

@Murphy_Rants@xanga -
Macy’s is a good place to start, they have a huge selection of brands, I like Nordstroms too, but finding a size 10 isn’t always easy.
guest
American Rag. You can find them in Juniors at Macy’s for $29.99. They range from size 0-15 longs
13 short for
but i also own 20 pairs from before pregnacy size 9-11. Great jeans. I love them.
guest
I have been trying to find a pair of really comfortable jeans! Maybe I’ll try some of these. I’ve never owned any of these brands lol It’s probably hard to find a size 15 like it is everywhere else though.

Charlotte Russe, especially their Refuge collection. <3
I always thought AE’s jeans were too expensive .-.

I assume most of you are tall because I haven’t seen a comment of anyone complaining about most pants are too long, even when they say “short.” I’m 4’11, 94 pounds and wear a size 0. Most places that say they are short sizes are designed for people who are about 5’2, which means they are long on me.
Wet Seal, however, always has size 0 jeans in different styles and when they say short, they mean it. Their pants fit me well and they almost always have great sales!
Sad to see they weren’t on this list… because except for Levi’s I can’t wear jeans from any of these places.
guest
The Bullhead actually is a terrible brand for me for some reason. I love how they fit in the ankles but they don’t really want to fit in my waist for some reason… But if they fit in my waist, they don’t fit in my ankles!
guest
my favorite jeans are pac sun bullhead jeans! i have about 3 of the, skinny, but not too tight. they are so comfortable and perfect!
guest
Levi’s<3, American Eagle, & the occasional Arizona
I want to try Vigoss, but I don’t need any jeans at the moment.
guest
I <3 Vigoss

Macy’s usually has Vigoss jeans on sale really cheap (around $20). I stock up. I love American Eagle, Levi’s, and GAP.

i love rock and republic. i love true religions. i also love bullhead’s skinny jeans.
by the way, if you check out ross and marshall’s they are constantly carrying vigoss jeans! i got a pair for 24.99 a couple years ago. try checking out clothing consignment stores like Plato’s Closet or Buffalo Exchange, they carry tonssss of really nice gently used jeans for cheap.
guest
I love Bullhead and American Eagle.
A favorite of mine: Refuge from Charlotte Russe. Fairly cheap and not great quality, but they fit me well. :]
guest
@bass_chick57 - I second that. My Delias jeans are my favorite.
guest
Bullhead all. the. way. They always fit and they usually run sales for a buy one get one type of thing every time I’m in there. Pacsun is a little pricey sometimes when it comes to tops, but I can’t go without the jeans!
guest
I like hydraulics jean, which I usually find at TJMaxx.
as long as they fit nicely, though, I usually don’t care about the brand

I love my Abercrombie&Fitch jeans. They hold up for a really long time, and considering I live in jeans, that’s a huge plus. Granted, they are on the insanely expensive side, but check out their clearance areas because they sometimes have good promos going on. Right now they’re doing like 50% off redlined items, so I was able to snag a good pair of jeans for $25 when they would normally be $90
guest
Old Navy, most specifically the Flirt straight legs. Love love love.

… Walmart.. and Thrift Stores…
Although once I did buy 2 pairs of DKY Jeans and LOVED them, I wore them til they had holes in them 5 years later haha

@lttlegel - I do get jeans at Wetseal, however they are not a top priority for me. I’m about 5’2 so getting short jeans just about anywhere is not a problem. You are very right about Wetseal having short jeans though.
lily / 5148 posts
@lttlegel - It’s okay. I’m a few inches shorter than you. I’m about 4’9″ and usually, I just get my pants hemmed up.
daffodil / 1975 posts
I get my jeans from Alloy. They carry, I think, six or seven different brands but they’ve all done well for me.
guest
AG jeans all the way!
tulip / 11 posts
I’ve seen some Vigoss jeans at Ross and Marshalls, they were around $25
guest
Arizonas. Only jeans I’ve found so far that fit me right. =p
guest
esprit, benetton, playlife, springfield, mango, vans, dc, pull and bear and killer loop are all i would ever wear. i’d wear ae if we had them in europe though.
guest
i LOVE vigoss. my favorite jeans. you can get them at kohls and jc penny for like 35 bucks! just look around!
guest
@lttlegel - I’m at an awkward height where short/petite is too short (in jeans) & regular is too long. I just deal with it though… I guess because I do manage to find jeans that fit properly in length.

@deemure@xanga - I agree.

I’ve only seen one person say Old Navy! They have amaaaazing jeans that I swear by! I’ve converted so many people to Old Navy jeans. I’ve only met a few people who don’t like them, either because they don’t like how they fit (if you’re the kind of person who gets a few wears out of jeans before you wash them, they are known to stretch a bit) or they just don’t like the jeans period. Old Navy has five or six different styles, and usually throughout the year come out with a “special edition” style. I can’t say enough how I love them! I used to always go to Kohls and get jeans, but never again!!!!

I like the brand LTB
peony / 1 posts
Maurices has Vigoss jeans at around $40. They have great sales on them too, for like $20. I discovered them last year and they’re the BEST. Also love BKE (Buckle’s store brand), Gap, American Eagle, and Silver. Nordstrom’s Rack is a great place to look for name brand jeans that the store regularly carries at about half the price. I got my first pair of Silvers there for $23 my sophomore year in High School. They finally wore out my Freshmen year of college.
guest
American Eagle because they have “short” sizes. Im 5 ft. The one thing is tey are winter/fall jeans. They are not lightweight for the summer.
guest
I swear on American Eagle jeans as well. They’re the best jeans EVER. A bit pricey, but totally worth it
guest
I have ten billion different types of jeans, but I have three favorites: Hydraulic, BKE, and Lucky Brand. Hydraulics are probably the easiest, being relatively cheap and easily found at any Anchor Blue. But BKE and Lucky Brands each are awesomely comfy and look amazing. They just cost a pretty penny.
guest
I mostly buy my jeans from PacSun and Wet Seal
Although I do like the American Eagle jeans that I’ve had in the past. I just never really think to go in there when I’m shopping.
guest
American Rag are my go-to jeans. But my all time favorite pair as far as fit/comfort has to go to my pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans. EXPENSIVE brand, but I got the pair for free, so that makes them that much sweeter
guest
for guys jeans.. obviously the more expensive the better…
levis, hugo boss, chip and pepper, lucky brand (i think this is my favorite it’s not TOO expensive, and fits really nice)
ya lucky and levis are my go to brands for jeans
guest
I used to love Arizona jeans because they were usually cheap and were actually short enough for me. They must’ve changed their style a bit though, because now even the petites are too long.
I recently started wearing Lane Bryant jeans…awesome fit, durable, and I get a wicked discount for being an employee! I’m a 14 now though, and if I lose much more weight, I’m gonna have to find another brand…
guest
I swear by Gap and only Gap. They are pricey, but the ankle cut is perfect for my height, and the waists are tailored well. Their always skinny cut is my absolute favorite. I tried jeans from Express and the waists are HUGE, not to mention their denim is flimsy. Gap all the way.
guest
I like American Eagle but the waistband gets loose throughout the day like most other brands of jeans. I haven’t had that problem with Abercrombie jeans yet, but dark wash Abercrombie jeans fade in color.
guest
Old Navy. They’re the only jeans that fit me right and they’re not ridiculously expensive. LURVE.

Express and Levi ^^

American Eagle and Bullhead by Pacsun are my holy grail of jeans. I’ve tried everything from designer denim to cheap brands from Kohl’s and the like, but those two brands always fit right on my wide waist and comparatively narrow hips, no matter what size I am.
guest
I honestly don’t remember the last time I bought jeans from a retail store. I have bought jeans from thrift stores since I was in high school and with my weight going up and down all the time this is the cheapest and best choice for me. My favorite brands to look for though are Old Navy, Mossimo and Levi.
