I support Leighton in this. I just feel bad that she’s been through so much with her mom, like she’s opened up in interviews about her mom being in jail. It’s all really sad for the whole family. 

She can sue, but I don’t know how much money her mom is going to have.

I definitely am on Leighton’s side. Clearly her mom cares more about herself than her own family members. This is so upsetting. 

If her mom has been in jail and she is suing her, I doubt she’ll get much money. However, I support Leighton completely. What her mom did was wrong and her mother should know that.

How sad, she can’t trust her own mom not too use her for her money and fame. And she was just trying to help the family out. 

I feel bad for the son . That’s sad that he needs medical attention and the mom would even think about spending the money on herself for something so superficial.

I agree with the person that says she can sue and no one would blame her, but exactly how much money is a person that refuses to work going to have?

I think she is hoping for the stated above so that any money she will send in the future will not go to her mother but to her brother, and that the money in the future cannot be disputed because of this lawsuit. 

The lawsuit seems pointless.  Why not sue for custody and take care of her brother directly?  That would be a lawsuit with a point.

She probably is suing for custody. 

I hope she is suing for custody of her brother…  Their mom is nuts!

I probably would do the same thing because her mother is taking advantage of her, and what her mother did was awful. If her brother need that money for MEDICAL purposes and her mother stole it, her mother deserves consequences.

even if the mom refuses to work and doesn’t have much money, they can probably take the mom’s property and sell it and give the money to leighton. there are always ways to get money if someone owes you. but yeah, this is so sad. what a terrible mom.

I have no idea who she is, but her mother doesn’t appear to have any right in this matter. I am sure there is more to the claim then meets the eye however.

I love my mom, but if I was in Leighton’s position, I’d sue the fuck out of her too! How could her mom take money from her son, HER SICKLY SON, and use it for plastic surgery?? WHAT THE FUCK. That bitch can spend a million dollars on plastic surgery, but she’ll never be beautiful. She sounds like a ugly selfish wench. Ugh. She should eat some damn makeup and try to make herself pretty on the inside.
