Pathetic ‘Little Monsters’ … 

Wow. Honestly, how dare people attack Adele for her WEIGHT when she has one of the most beautiful voices this generation has ever heard. She deserves every nomination she got.

I hate obsessed fans like that. They’re acting like the bratty fans who sent Selena Gomez death threats when she started dating Bieber. Some people just can’t handle life I guess.

I love Adele’s voice. Whatever nominations she got, she deserved them. Notice that none of Gaga’s loyal little monsters could mock Adele’s talent. Instead, they ignorantly made fun of her weight. It looks bad on those fans and I hope Adele isn’t bothered by their comments.

This us awful but Adele has also made comments pertaining to people’s sizes and weight that were rude so maybe she’s just getting a taste of her own medicine. It is not okay to make negative comments towards anyone’s weight or size whether they’re large or small.

I’m a “little monster” myself and this makes me so fucking angry, I can’t even stand it. I love gaga but I do NOT love her so called “little monsters” and this is exactly why. Gaga & Adele are two completely different and talented artists. I adore them both. I just.. ugh. -_-

Adele deserved the nominations. Those fans need to STFU.

I think thats sad that the only thing they can make fun of her for is her weight. People need to get over the fact that a certain weight doesn’t make you a better person or singer in this case.

Adele’s nominations are well earned. She’s got very real talent. These are cheap shots from little children who obviously don’t realize that there’s more talent in the world than their precious Gaga. Besides, it’s just an awards show. I’m pretty sure Lady Gaga isn’t sitting around her house bummed, she’s done well enough for herself. 

That’s really upsetting. I’m a HUGE fan of Gaga, but Adele has an absolutely phenomenal voice and is insanely talented. Her nominations are deserved!

Oh come the fuck on.  Adele is SO talented.  So is Gaga, but her fans – the ones posting – are fucking immature little bitches.  That’s where the negativity comes in, what the fuck does Adele’s weight have to do with winning?  She fucking deserved it!  Seems like Gaga has a couple of fans who can’t be gracious about a win when another artist earns her way.

I hope Adele ignores that shit.  Hopefully she’s able to brush it off, because they’re meaningless comments, from such small minds.

This is so sad and out of line. These artists are nominated for their talent, not their looks. I agree that they’re not following Gaga’s message of acceptance. It’s really just a petty and immature way of acting out.

She’s said some other things too, I wouldn’t say she deserves comments about her weight because no one does but music has nothing to do with what you look like. If you’re a great artist you’re a great artist whether you have weight or not or how you dress or anything like that. the comments adele said about others artist appearance was basically just saying that artist today rely and focus to much on their appearance instead of their actual music. She is saying and has said numerous times that she would rather be known for her music not her looks.

As much as I am annoyed with Adele because she’s constantly making comments about how she supposedly loves her weight (and how she puts down skinny people), artistically speaking she is FAR more talented than Gaga could ever *dream* of being. Seriously, Gaga isn’t shit. Sure she has some talent for what it’s worth, but she’s just a mediocre pop singer who know how to market to her audience, big deal. Adele has some strong pipes, excellent song writing skills, and she puts her heart and soul into her performances. She doesn’t have to dress like a lunatic to garner attention. Her music sells itself, which is a lot more than we can say about Gaga.

And what’s even more screwed up is that Gaga’s fans take her so seriously. It’s like they have never seen real talent, real artistic skill, or else they would clearly understand why Adele is up for more nominations than Gaga. Maybe when they grow up they will start to understand why Gaga isn’t all that.

I would think that other little monsters (I am one myself) would be able to embrace both Adele’s talent as well as Lady Gaga’s. Mother Monster would NOT approve at all, it’s so sad that they’re too ignorant to see it.

I think that most of the “fans” on twitter who refer to themselves as “little monsters” are delusional. No one takes them seriously. I am a fan of Lady Gaga’s music but I don’t too much care for her whole act and all her extra nonsense. She’s legitimately talented but she’s so over-the-top that it’s what she’s known for instead of her awesome voice and dance technique. I think her “fans” need to have a seat. 

What the heck! A singer should be judged for her voice, not her weight or appearance!!

Not only is this disgusting and horrible because Adele deserves to be nominated but also for the irony of these certain “little monsters” actions, specially since Lady Gaga’s Little Monster campaign and stance is all about accepting who you are and others for who they are, and loving them for being different. Ridiculous! I, for one, think Adele is gorgeous and I hope to God that she does not change the way she looks just to fit in with what hollywood and the music industry seem to think is beautiful and right.

it wasn’t just monsters doing it too. mtv just wrote an article (which where i am guessing you got all this from) about the lil monsters attacking adele but actually britney fans, kesha, rhianna, nicki minaj fans were doing the exact same shit. but nobody mentions it. they decided lil monsters would cause more of an uproar by saying they were the only ones attacking adele which isn’t true. seriously, can’t u come up with more original posts? after seeing this post on mtv.com a few days before this one it just seems like you can’t come up with anything on your own. you even used the same pics they used. 

Honestly…I think Adele is over rated…but insulting her like that is just mean. I mean… seriously, it’s not like she forced people to nominate her. Also, I don’t think she’s fat. I really don’t. I think she sometimes dresses in a way that is unkind to her build, but she’s not fat. Adele is newly popular…so of course she’s going to get the most attention. Gaga is a sellout, in my opinion. She has GREAT talent but she kind of threw it away to try to be “different” and in being different she kind of turned out to be the same as any other pop star.

Adele deserves those nominations over her in my opinion. But that’s just MY taste. I’m not going to bash Gaga because of it though.

Pretty sure Lady Gaga would not approve, especially because she has admitted she is insecure about her own weight. Goes to show everyone has shitty fans, these “little monsters” probably didn’t get the memo. Kinda like the bad apples of certain religions, they aren’t hearing the full message.

What disgusts me almost as much as this is people who think that insulting Gaga in this post is okay simply because Adele was attacked. Two wrongs don’t make a right. I’m pretty sure both Gaga and Adele would be very upset seeing their LOOKS being compared and told is ugly or gross. How about we forget for one moment about looks and focus on the music. They both have very different styles that will appeal to different people. Period. Want something upbeat and lifting, check out Gaga. Need something with some real heart and soul, sing along with Adele. My point is that comparing them and saying “Adele’s a fatass,” and “Gaga’s ugly” is just stupid and pointless because you aren’t looking at what they are PRODUCING.

Fans of both girls need to get over it and learn that not everyone is going to like the other. But that is no reason to insult either women, especially on something so superficial and vain as looks. At the end of the day, both girls have amazing voices, great style, and awesome messages. How about we focus more on praising them instead of trying to bring one or the other down?

And I agree, I like Gaga, but I think Fame Monster is far superior to Born This Way, which was a disappointment to be honest. I think Adele’s album has more musical merit, and that’s what the awards are about.

How male musicians don’t have to go through being insulted by looks or weights. It’s always about the music with them while with women, it’s always about looks. I can’t tell you how many times when Lady Gaga is posted in Lovelyish, half of the comments are always “she’s ugly,” “she’s not that attractive” and the like. It’s like, “why can’t you focus on her music? Don’t like that? Okay, then move on. No need to attack her looks just because you don’t like the sound.”

I don’t understand how people could critize someone based on weight. I understand that most of Gaga’s fans are young but to have the audacity to say such things disgusts me.

I don’t think that Gaga would approve of this sort of behavior. As for her weight, I think people are scared of normal.I think it’s fucking fantastic that someone who’s considered plus size is getting some attention for something other than her weight. She’s a good role model for those of us who aren’t size 8′s. It makes me feel good inside and hopeful that maybe one day the media will get out of this “not thin enough” phase. Not only is it unhealthy, it’s detrimental to the people in this world.
