The closest American Apparel store to my hometown is almost three hours away. I hadn’t even heard of it until the ads began appearing on the sidebars of websites I visited (Um, the tank thong, anyone?). What I’ve seen has shocked me, and after visiting the website, I’m a little scandalized.
