What ever happened to good ol’ Jansport bookbags? Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have introduced this backpack in their new line of handbags for The Row.
Okay, I don’t care what this backpack is made out of, this price is ridiculous. You can probably buy a Mercedes instead of this bag, OR a year or two of college tuition!
I don’t even think it’s that cute. Sure, it’s probably made from some nice exotic animal skin (crocodile, I think) and looks like a timeless bag, but I could never see myself paying $35,000 for any fashion piece. Paying $1,000 for a pair of Louboutins, which I hope to do one day, still seems preposterous to me.
Maybe it’s just me being frugal but who the heck would actually buy this?
What do you think about this $35,000 backpack? Would you buy it if you had the cash flow?

If I had that much cash to throw away I would sponsor a scholarship in my name to help someone get an education. Then I’d go to Taco Bell.

No. Remember when their stuff was at Wal*Mart and their bags/purses were like $12? That’s about all I still think their bags, esp this one, are worth.
